10/10Our evening at Balila was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable team dinner. The food was simply exquisite, each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity. What truly stood out was the impeccable service; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening was nothing short of perfect. 10/10Really enjoyed our meal paired with an excellent wine. A quite unique dessert; Angels Hair was new to me. Attentive staff. As always good things come at a price. Worth paying. Really enjoyed our evening.

8.5/10Delicious food as always, great atmosphere- even if quite noisy today. Service was surprisingly bad, quite slow, had to ask twice for them to get our orders, brought the wrong wine, and brought the bill before we asked for it. I must clarify that I come here often and service had always been good.

5.5/10I have eaten at Balila several times. This time, my experience was disappointing. The pitta bread was not fresh and over-baked But what made this experience truly disappointing is that I was charged twice for the meal. Although I returned to the restaurant to resolve the issue, the restaurant manager was extremely unhelpful. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved.

3/10Terrible service! Our meat was served cold, the kofta were cold from inside and when we asked the manager to get us a new plate she refused and reheated the meat. They even charged us for dates without advising they we not complimentary. Never going back!

9/10Le cadre est magnifique, the hotel is central, the food is very good and probably the best Lebanese dishes in Geneva. The quieter side of the restaurant is good for intimacy and the Salle Principale best for ambiance.

9.5/10Great food and service from Rayan, Mazen, and Kamel. This was some of the best food we had in Switzerland. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very welcoming, except for the maitre d' who was too busy to acknowledge us with a basic courtesy of a hello, even though the restaurant was not busy at all on a Sunday night. It would also have been nice to have met the chef as we loved the food. Other than that, the food, the ambience and service, other than the maitre d' was excellent.

9.5/10We loved the food and the service. The restaurant is beautiful, amazing variety and very tasty in all aspects. Waiters were honest when we asked for a recommendation on main course. We felt the lights were quite bright and could’ve been lowered to make the atmosphere better. But will certainly be back.

10/10Always a pleasure to have lunch at Balila. Consistent quality of food, service and ambiance!!! I recommend without hesitation and suggest you pair a Lebanese white wine (Ixzir Altitudes) with the food.

8/10The food is always exceptional and as a regular customer i am always impressed. however, over the past 5 time i have noticed a service delay with regards to the waiters. it seems that there are always some "team meetings" when we are there which tends to delay of services. nevertheless, everything else has been exceptional.

4/10I am negatively surprised by the ratio of price and quality of food and portion sizes. Balila became more basic and portions are tiny. Lunch for 4 people without wine and over eating was 400 CHF. We will not go there again.

6.5/10Generally one eats very well at Balila. Today was not a good day neither for the cooks nor for us, customers. We ordered two salads, the Fattoush (which turned out to be excellent) and the Tabboulé. The latter did not even taste like a tabboulé (I lived in Lebanon for 23 years, I know and make the stuff myself): too salty, no olive oil, dry, unedible, with a strange taste. We told the waiter about the situation, he went to the kitchen and he gave us a strange explanation followed by a « sorry ». He did not offer to have another tabboulé prepared and billed us for it. Same deception with the lentils, named « harak osbao ». As soon as my guest tasted it she declared that the lentils came out of a can, nothing to do with fresh ones. I tasted them and confirmed her finding. Charging CHF 21 for canned lentils is not precisely what you expect in a restaurant of this category. Finally, the « Kaftas », minced meat on skewers came tepid and soft, whereas they should be firm and burning hot. A real disappointment today.

9/10very good restaurant, unfortunately there were so many people that the dishes did not all arrive on the table at the same time and suddenly there was a forgotten dish. that we canceled since we had finished eating. the welcome is warm and the waitress was extremely smiling, friendly and professional. the atmosphere on the terrace was perfect. calm with a beautiful view and like a moment suspended in time.
