Amazing food. Service was a bit overwhelmed as the restaurant was extremely busy when we went. It’s very very authentic food.

The food was okay, but the fish wasn't very fresh. Serving and taking orders were both very slow. The restaurant's website accepts TheFork Pay, but it refused to accept payment when I tried to pay.

I’m not sure if the management has changed. The vibe and other important factors have. The sides for the Peking duck were served in plastic takeaway containers. When we questioned this, we were told they’d run out of ceramic dishes. (Then out came the ceramic dishes.) The pancakes for the duck were thick and wet. (Previously frozen?) The classic green bean with pork dish tasted fine but had almost no Sichuan peppers in it, which makes this dish so fabulous. I’d actually called in advance to check that they had xiao long bao, because my friend made that a requirement for my restaurant choice. Unbelievably, this was not available. I avoid leaving non-positive reviews but I felt a report on Bayan, formerly my favorite Chinese restaurant in Paris, was in order.

My second time in Bayan. And again, All the food are great, service is quick and reliable. Excellent experience overall.

The restaurant is perfect in terms of location, taste, service, environment. I would recommend you to order the Beijing duck. Very authentic!

I have reserved for three persons at 8:30 pm and we arrived there the guy told me that he didn’t have the reset under my name, I showed him the email confirmation of the reservation and he made a double checked, finally he found my reservation. He said for the moment the restaurant is full, there is no place, you have to wait but I have made reservation so why I have to wait if I already made a reservation ? I decided to wait for 15 mins and asked him again, how long I have to wait because it’s seems people just starting to eat and that’s means it will be for Long time….. I decided to leave and went to another restaurant with better service as more friendly as honest and professional! Never come back again to this place

Honestly ,They rasied the price after covid and it is a bit over priced, but quality of the cuisine is still well, as well as the location and the terasse.

The food was amazing and the waiter was very friendly. They have truly authentic Chinese food which satisfy Asian stomach. I believe I will return to this restaurant When I visit Paris next time.

Really excellent Chinese food. Far above the average. But service a bit sloppy and interior somewhat warn down. Prices on the other hand very decent. Strongly recommend a visit

My 4th time within few months to my favorite Chinese restaurant in Paris, never disappointed, always nicely surprised when trying new dishes. The pork ribs were amazing! I rarely eat meat, especially pork. Tempted by photos shared by friends on wechat, I tried it today, and didn't regret at all - the ribs were cooked "tender in the bones", while crispy outside. Just a delight! My all time favorite is the entree "marinated spicy beaf". Pity that I was with my little daughter, can't try as many dished as I wish. The little one enjoyed her fried noodle and dumpling. We were both happy. The service was impeccable. My daughter got her kids set as usual, very practical. The young man was very nice and attentive, just the perfect distance. It was Tuesday lunch time. There were quite a few tables. Seats were smartly arranged, we felt as if we were the only clients.

Every dish that I have ever ordered in this restaurant so far, has been marvelous. High-end setting for Chinese cuisine, ideal choice for business dinner or a romantic occasion!
