We enjoyed a quiet dinner, beautiful ambience with the added bonus of a pianist playing well loved songs while we ate. Both meals were prepared and presented well, as was dessert. We had the chicken Caesar salad and the salmon, with a chocolate mouse and espresso to end the evening. We would come back next time we visit Florence!

6/10We ended up eating at this restaurant again by mistake as we didn’t realize that this restaurant with great reviews on The Fork app was the same one that we had already gone to. The servers are both very nice, and initially, very attentive. The pianist was even better than the pianist the first night. He was friendly and was an incredible musician. Our shared Caesar Salad was very good and quite large. It was perfect for sharing. My steak with arugula and pecorino cheese was very good. My wife had the pasta with mussels. It was inedible. It was so salty it was like you were drinking sea water. Neither server checked in to see how the food was or if we needed anything. This is the exact same situation as our previous experience here. When the server finally checked in we had finished everything other than the pasta. We told him how salty the pasta was and we were surprised that this was kept on our bill. We won’t go back. Too bad as it’s a cool place.

9/10This is a cool restaurant. The night we went there was a pianist playing. He was excellent and played a number of songs throughout our meal. The food was very good. (bruschetta and 2 pastas). Initially everything was perfect and then we were kind of forgotten about by our waiter. When our bill came, we found that there was a 3 euro charge per person (maybe because of the live music although this wasn’t mentioned up front) and each of our drinks were 1 euro more than the menu listed. None of these issues were a dealbreaker as this place is really interesting and the food is really good. I’d certainly consider trying it again on a future visit to Florence.

10/10Albion and Claudio provided excellent service. The restaurant was charming, the food was delicious and the price was very good with The Fork discount. The pianist improved an already wonderful ambiance. Don’t hesitate.

9.5/10The beef in wine sauce at Belcanto was an absolute gem! The beef was tender and juicy, with a rich, flavorful wine sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet. The sauce clung perfectly to the meat, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. The pianist's elegant melodies filled the air, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere that was perfect for a special occasion. 6.5/10It seems that this restaurant is a bit of a scam, the bread was really hard and the quality of food was nothing special, very overrated in my opinion my order was a steak and if you want any potato’s or rice with it they will charge you and extra. Not what I expected in Firenze.
