8/10Service was a 1000/10 - I cannot stress this enough. Great view from the outside terrace. The food was a disappointment. The risotto was absolutely flavorless and the beef fillet was severely undercooked and was drowned in too much sauce for my taste. The dessert is what brought my food rating up to a 3/5. The lava cake with ice cream was immaculate - the second best dessert I have had in my Italian travels. Number one was a Caprie Cake from La Capannina in Capri. Once again, service and the view were both as good as it gets. Relaxing with a nice bottle of wine and some appetizers is the route I would take (maybe their other main courses are better). All in all, solid restaurant - also not terribly expensive for the view you get. Just stay AWAY from the Cuttlefish risotto

10/10We spent a special night at the terrace of this welcoming restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast. The service was great, the food exquisite and made of fresh local products. we had also the opportunity to watch the fireworks on the occasion of the patron saint of Ravello on July 27th. Many thanks to the staff for a memorable time!

6.5/10The food was really just ok. The shrimp in my dish weren’t cleaned at all, and having to devein shrimp is always a bummer. The view is prettty but only visible from a couple tables. My least favorite place we ate at during our week on the coast.

9/10Food was really good. We didn’t have antipasto, shared the ravioli for primo and then for secondo, hubs had the beef with spinach and I had the lamb chops with potatoes. Incredibly flavoursome and tasty. The view was spectacular. A very good dinner for our first night. Well worth the visit.

10/10The staff is professional and eager to make the guests have a great dining experience. The view is to die for. We went first week in May. The night air gets cool so bringing a sweater would be a good idea. I would definitely eat here again.

4/10We started with the caprese salad that was very disappointing with avocado slices that was hard like rock. The service was very slow. The wine was too warm and the side of grilled vegetables was served cold. I had to ask them to be heated in the kitchen. The fish of the day was good but the presentation mediocre with only 3 olives with the fish when it was supposed to be a main ingredient of the dish… The risotto was more like a paella with the rice being too cooked and the sauce was too liquid… I do not recommend this restaurant.

Dear Ms. Catherine, thanks for your review. I'm sorry that you are disappointing. regarding your complaints I would like to clarify some points: 1) Our grilled vegetables are a cold dish and not a hot one. 2) The catch of the day, the olives are not served as a side dish but are used to give flavor to the fish when cooked. The main ingredient of the dish is the fish, not the olives. 3) I'm sorry that the risotto wasn't to your liking, this is how we prepare risotto alla scoglio and no one has ever complained. 4) Regarding the temperature of the wine, the reds are at a temperature of around 15/18 degrees, if you had told me this when I served it, I would have brought a basket to cool it. 6) Regarding the service, I'm sorry that it was too slow for you, we try to be quick and prompt with everyone, but at the same time we don't want to rush customers that want to enjoy evening and the view. We are sorry that you don't want to recommend our restaurant to others, everyone has different and subjective opinion.

10/10I have known the hotel and family for more than 30 years-- the food and atmosphere is always great and of course the spectacular views are an added bonus. The whole experience makes for a perfect meal in a glorious setting. The best place in Ravello.

9/10The service was great, the food was absolutely amazing! We have been traveling around the Amalfi coast for 3 weeks and the grilled fish was the best we’ve had! I also loved that they offered a variety of vegetables as sides. That’s hard to find! We really enjoyed our meal and would dine again if we are ever lucky enough to visit Ravello again!

9/10Good quality and tasty food with reasonable portions, There were certainly plenty of waiters, which meant quite speedy service, overall they were quite attentive and friendly even if not consistently so. The big drawback of the restaurant is the limited number of tables on the terrace with the 'bella vista', 7 or 8 at the most. Consequently we, like several others had to be accommodated indoors, which for a place called 'bella vista' and dining out in the summer is rather disappointing.

10/10We had an excellent lunch in the shade overlooking Ravello and the Mediterranean Sea. All the food was excellent - the baked sea trout was especially fantastic. Served with crisp Costa di Amalfi rose wine, glasses of ice cold water, it was the perfect end to a great week we spent on the Amalfi coast. The staff were also friendly and attentive.

10/10beautiful setting, attentive, cheerful & helpful staff. We were kindly moved to a different table once space allowed so we could enjoy the beautiful views even more. Gem of a restaurant...hadn't realised when booking that was actually in our lovely hotel (Hotel Bonadies) so that made it even better!

9.5/10The view for this restaurant cannot be beat. Absolutely stunning view of the mountains and water. The entire ambience of the restaurant is wonderfully romantic upscale and elegant. The food was very good obviously for a restaurant like this you're going to pay for what you get which is the ambiance and the view. You can definitely get the same quality food for less at other restaurants in the area but you will not have this view.

8.5/10View was as good as it gets. Service was friendly.. Menu variety was impressive. Two of the dishes we had ,lamb chops and minestrone,could have been done better(by us). However we will return in a day or so to try them again.
