I chose this restaurant because of its view. I had a table with a lovely view of the sea and the surrounding towns and landscape. The food, though not cheap, was delicious. I was impressed with the service as well. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They even offered me a little glass of limoncello at the end, which made the dinner end perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for a special dinner at a place with a spectactular view.

Bella Vista sul mare is an impressive restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was wonderful. There is a small bar in the front of the hotel area where you can have an aperitivo. The view was out of this world. We were sat at the front window overlooking the sea and towns below.

A wonderful view from our table but a very disappointing meal which was over priced. The staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly.

Hello, thank you for your review, but I am astonished to read that the dinner was not to your liking, even though we waiters, when we came to the table to ask if everything was fine, were not told that your dishes liking. Our prices are fair, and are based on the cost of the premium raw materials we use. They are not "overpriced". What bothered you about our dining room staff, to define them as "not particularly welcoming or friendly." She was sitting on the terrace, and that evening due to the cold it wasn't possible for us to "stay and talks" at the tables for a long time as usual, but for us it was cold and we couldn't risk our health. Service was a 1000/10 - I cannot stress this enough. Great view from the outside terrace. The food was a disappointment. The risotto was absolutely flavorless and the beef fillet was severely undercooked and was drowned in too much sauce for my taste. The dessert is what brought my food rating up to a 3/5. The lava cake with ice cream was immaculate - the second best dessert I have had in my Italian travels. Number one was a Caprie Cake from La Capannina in Capri. Once again, service and the view were both as good as it gets. Relaxing with a nice bottle of wine and some appetizers is the route I would take (maybe their other main courses are better). All in all, solid restaurant - also not terribly expensive for the view you get. Just stay AWAY from the Cuttlefish risotto

We spent a special night at the terrace of this welcoming restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Amalfi Coast. The service was great, the food exquisite and made of fresh local products. we had also the opportunity to watch the fireworks on the occasion of the patron saint of Ravello on July 27th. Many thanks to the staff for a memorable time!

The food was really just ok. The shrimp in my dish weren’t cleaned at all, and having to devein shrimp is always a bummer. The view is prettty but only visible from a couple tables. My least favorite place we ate at during our week on the coast.

Food was really good. We didn’t have antipasto, shared the ravioli for primo and then for secondo, hubs had the beef with spinach and I had the lamb chops with potatoes. Incredibly flavoursome and tasty. The view was spectacular. A very good dinner for our first night. Well worth the visit.

The staff is professional and eager to make the guests have a great dining experience. The view is to die for. We went first week in May. The night air gets cool so bringing a sweater would be a good idea. I would definitely eat here again.
