We enjoyed our food and will return however after being asked immediately what we would like to eat when we hadn’t even looked at the menu ! It then took a long time for the waiter to come back. When he did he was really friendly .

The restaurant is a gem!!! Could be called a hole in the wall for the simple interior, but… what a hole in the wall it is!!! The food is a home-cooked-style masterpiece for a half of what you’d pay in an average Swiss restaurant. We had 2 cold and 1 hot appetizers, 2 fish entrees/plates and a large beer for 62 CHF after The Fork’s 20% discount. Every dish was amazing. And believe me, it’s not the price but the food that made me fall in love with this place. Stuffed eggplant hot appetizer is a must. Don’t hesitate, you’ll be rewarded

Food was very good, big portions and freshly cooked. Would visit again if staying Lausanne longer. Friendly service, especially young guy who didn’t stop moving all evening but still found time to be friendly and share a joke. We sat inside but also outside tables available. Pizzas are enormous and could see them being freshly prepared and cooked in pizza oven. Other people were having salads and they looked very good too. Carlsberg on draught. Big TVs which showed the football but not on too loud if you weren’t interested in watching. Recommended

Great location, good food. Easy to get to as it's next to the train station, and the meal of day is served very very quickly!

Enjoyed a plate of "Lucifer" tagliatelle. Tasty! The setting is almost that of a train station coffee shop, i.e. more functional than charming, which really is to be expected as it basically stands in for the defunct Lausanner "Buffet de la Gare". Better than I expected. Would not mind eating there again.
