5/10I'll start by saying that we arrived with very high expectations.Once we entered we were welcomed impeccably and then accompanied to our table which was practically right next to the table next to us.we started with some fantastic butter and then moved on to some excellent appetizers, until we got to the main course which was the sore point of this evening.very dry beef fillet, very very questionable mashed potatoes, while the other course was nothing more than a bean soup that they had forgotten to add salt to.cream puffs with vanilla cream and hot chocolate passable.but the real problem came when I entered the toilet which looked like the one in a hostel. From a starred restaurant I would have expected something a little more refined.

7/10+2I was thrilled to visit this restaurant since last year. For it being a 1 star restaurant the toilets were dirty. A steamer to clean the mold growing under the sink would be a solution, the floor was dirty, the walls need fresh paint, the doors need restaining.

6/10We were tourists in Paris and noticed that every person in the upstairs dining room where we were placed - were also tourists. The locals ate downstairs. - a much livelier atmosphere. We didn’t appreciate being segregated. The wine steward, when he brought the wine poured me a full glass rather than having me taste it. He told me he had tasted it and it was very good. The wine was fine but I was surprised not to be given the opportunity to taste it. And not once did a waiter come to refill our glasses. We poured our own wine. The menu was very traditional (and somewhat uninspired) but well prepared.

10/10The service was lovely, but the food was the star of the show. We asked for our prime rib to be medium rare, and the waiter insisted that it be medium -while it seemed to be a bit overcooked to our preferences- it was still excellent. The best dessert was the cake with the cognac pour over the top. The pastry dessert seemed to have an overcooked nuttiness taste to it; however, the cream served alongside with the vanilla bean was tasty. Mashed potatoes can be made many different ways and these were some of the best!

7/10This was our first time at Michelin star restaurant and I guess we have expected something extra-ordinary. The bill at the end was the only thing that was extra-ordinary. It was good, no mistake about it but nothing to write home about. Paris has a lot of restaurants that are as good or better for a fraction of the price.

9/10excellent hors-d'œuvre, and very good duck breast! The spices were a little strong on the beef tenderloin, overpowering all other taste. The wine was great. Overall we loved our experience there.

9/10the appetizers were excellent - Cookpot de petit épeautre de Haute-Provence, aubergine et olives noires & Coeur de saumon fumé, pommes de terre et aneth . The duck was very good, just lacking a bit in flavor, and its accompanying sauce suberb. The dessert menu, as mentioned by other reviews, was very standard. The sommelier was friendly and very knowledgeable -- he chose an excellent Syrah from the incredible wine list. Unfortunately, we chose the profiteroles and they were mediocre, with a non-descript chocolate sauce. Our advice -- definitely eat here, BUT SKIP THE DESSERT

5/10Overall very disappointing. Extremely slow service, we had to ask for the dessert menu a few times and eventually gave up and asked for the bill instead which was another long wait. Food didn’t blow us away. Wouldn’t return or recommend! There are a lot of better places to dine out in Paris than this!

5.5/10Food at Benoit Paris was good but service was horrendous. We ordered a bottle of wine from the sommelier but it didn’t come. 1st course came; no wine. We asked our waiter about the wine and he said he’ll check on it. Main course came; still no wine. We just decided to skip dessert and paid the check and left. Our aloof waiter kept talking in French even though we spoke to him in English. Our waiter even set up utensils in front of the wrong person. This dinner would’ve been the finale of our trip around Europe but it turned out to be a horrible and profoundly disappointing dining experience. Benoit Paris doesn’t deserve its Michelin star.

10/10+1Benoit Paris offers an exquisite dining experience, combining classic French flavors with an elegant ambiance. The terrine was a delightful start, rich in texture and expertly seasoned, complemented by tangy pickled vegetables. The trouch main course was perfectly cooked, tender, and paired with subtle, earthy fennel that enhanced the dish's complexity. The Parisian gnocchi was a comforting, hearty option, featuring a bechamel base topped with wilted spinach for a balanced finish. The creamy poached egg was luxurious and satisfying. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured a seamless meal. From the beautifully presented plates to the refined flavours, Benoit delivers a memorable Parisian lunch experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each dish felt carefully curated, maintaining the authenticity of French cuisine while offering a modern touch.

6/10The flod was nothing special or above what you can expect of any restaurant. I had very high expectations thus I became quite disappointed by the food. The dessert was the worst part, if you can chose between the desert or the starter then chose the starter because we didn’t even finish our deserts. The service was excellent and the place was beautiful however sadly the food didn’t live up to the expectations, it was good but not better than I think you should be able to get at another place.

5/10We ate the duck breast with a gingerinfused sauce. The ginger was quite overpowering and the duck skin was quite soft. Got two recommended wines that we thought didn’t live up to the restaurant - a Chablis that came a bit too warm and strong/spicey and a Syrah that lacked tannins, though it had a great aroma. The staff was very friendly and service minded, especially our waiter and sommelier. I asked for a beer initially that never came, so I think it was quite hectic behind the scenes.

5/10We started off our meal strong with delicious cheese and black pepper amuse bouche, and a plate of cheeses (some of the best I’ve had in a long time), delicious butter and bread, and French onion soup. The soup had a sweet mustard taste and took away from the flavours of the beef, broth, cheese and onion. Overall, the meal was off to a good start and we were eager to get our mains. The staff show you your meal prior to them plating it for you, which was exciting. However, the mains were nothing to be excited about. The cassoulet was simply okay, and the duck was terrible. Tasted what I imagine raw unseasoned chicken to taste like. The duck was so bad, I lost my appetite. This was disappointing considering the meal started off on such a high note. This place is a skip. Not worth the price. Skip and try somewhere else.

8/10--Ris de Veau extraordinary. --Escargot very good as always. --Expected cassoulet not to be as strictly traditional. It was well prepared in traditional way. Nevertheless, a bit of fat removal and some sort of original twist would have been welcome in a "haute" couisine place like Benoit. .
