It is ok place and most probably very popular with the youth - still it is a bit too small for the purpose - so if you hit XL size - may be a bit too tight. The service is ok, advice, etc is there - pne things is that Nouveau wine bottle cost was 25 euro and it was a bit too much for my taste - otherwise all is good and atmosphere is there!!

A great local spot with terrific gratin dishes (get one with the small side salad-the best!) and beer and wine! We love everything about it and have been several times! Carol and the whole team are friendly and make the place even more special. Awesome 80's/90's tunes as well!

Great selection of food, and the server recommended their house specialty which was delicious. It was.a cheesy chicken and potato dish, paired with a great Belgian beer. Quick service and good atmosphere.

Food was absolutely delicious! The tables are tightly together, not that it’s bad, but if you are looking for more space or have a large group be prepared. But food and service were 5 stars.

The food and wine were lovely. The service was excellent. Although we sat inside we could still smell the smokers outside. I know it’s a Paris thing smoking outside but for others it’s a bit disgusting and ruins the otherwise lovely experience.

We had a lovely meal at Bistro des Augustins. We all hadva gratin which were all absoloutely delicious. The best meal we had throughout our whole trip! There was a good selections of deinks and the service was friendly and efficient. Would hihjly recommend.

The food is outstanding. The potato dishes are so unique and tasty. Our waiter was very attentive and we did not feel rushed at all. We sat outside which is always a great experience. You can reservation online which is a plus. The restaurant is small but the flavors and experience are big. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a group booking. My friends arrived under my name. It was over 35 degrees and there was no air conditioning inside. So the heat was too much to sit down for a meal. To be fair the restaurant such temperatures in July are exceptional. But it would be good for them to invest in AC. thanks

It was good, not great. Staff was nice and accommodating but it is not a special experience. Quality is average and this is the plight of a small businessman, the wine (Sancerre and Rose) was of inferior quality and the glassware it was served in was a small pour for the price. I get it, small businesses are trying to make $$$ but at 140+ Euro for a meal they should up the ante on the food and serve higher quality wine/spirits to the guest. There are much better places to go in the area.

The menu featured gratin prepared in multiple styles. My wife had the Gratin Nicoise, and the preparation was true to form. However the thick cheese crust was covered in dried herbs that made the cover inedible. My choice of the meat and cheese platter was better...but not much. The meats were 4 puny pieces of "white" ham, mortadella, prosciutto and a spicy salami. The 4 cheeses were not much better
