Dear Miss Burmistrova, we are sorry for your overly severe comment and we apologize for the bad mood it caused you. However, we believe we have to give some explanations, the cuisine of the Bistrot stands out especially for the particular proposals that refer to the history of the city and is not approved in terms of particular presentation and decoration of the dish like many excellent Michelin restaurants, but rather to a simple but modern re-proposal of dishes that belong to the roots of the Venetian-Italian gastronomic tradition. Evidently Miss Burmistrova did not grasp the message of food and wine culture that we proudly present to our Guests with great success and continuous recognition for over 30 years. However, we want to inform our future Customers that Bistrot de Venise Menu includes numerous other suggestive and interesting proposals linked to modern Venetian-Italian cuisine (see website) Sincerely The direction Sergio Fragiacomo

10/10Hands down, the BEST meal of my life. So many 4 letter words were said as we were eating. We did the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was beyond our expectations, the care in our wine selections was noted. The sommelier knew his stuff. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and staff. If you are in Venice this must be on your reservation list!

9.5/10The food is delicious and the service was excellent. The only sorry for us is we did not get seat inside. Outside was hot plus mosquitos which kept us rushing to finish the food. Next time has to make sure reservation is inside.

8/10The food and venue are great. At first, service was very slow, and it took a while to take our order (water, drinks, and food), to the point we were about to leave. The team noticed our discomfort and was attentive afterward, but there was definitely something to improve.

10/10Went here for a romantic date night, luckily I was able to get a reservation through The Fork because everything else was fully booked this night. We decided on the fixed price menu with added wine pairing and it was amazing. The service was absolute top notch with each dish (and its history explained) and fun details of each wine shared. It was a first date so we lost track of time as we kept talking, being the last to leave but at no point did we ever feel pressured by staff to hurry up.

10/10It was our 10 year anniversary which we noted in our reservation and the restaurant prepared a fresh rose 🌹 😀 the waitor waw great explaining the history behind each wine 🍷 and dish, we enjoyed everything on our 110 eur per person 5 course tasting menu, particularly our starter and the dessert. would recommend for special occasions.

10/10From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was outstanding. The wine list was extensive, and the sommelier made excellent suggestions. The food was well presented and very flavorful. We started with scallops and also the shrimp. The sweet and sour shrimp was interesting and tasty, but I felt the scallops were amazing. The lasagna and the scampi were well prepared and delightful. If you like good service; flavorful and well presented meals then this is the place for you.

10/10From entry into the restaurant you are treated as if you are the only people there, seated at our pre booked table thanks to the fork our candle was lit and experience commenced. On request a tomb of a wine list was presented some very nice wines! The menu not only describes the food, but tells you when it's from, the waiters explain the food as its served in what I might add in style! My partner ordered the lasagne and I the Jewish goose, both very nice, with my partner stating it was one of the nicest lasagnes he had ever had. As mains we had the fillet of beef and the lamb, lovely. As a bonus we got served with a complimentary mutton and cabbage broth and a trio of mini chocolates to finish.

10/10Service is excellent. This is the place to go if you want a good and wine experience. Just ask for Stefano. Food was original but keeping in the style of Venetian style. Desserts were probably the best part of the meal.

10/10A perfect end to our trip to Venice, the service was friendly and loved the explanation of the dishes. The scallops are delicious and creamed cod divine! My husband devoured the lamb and my duck was cooked to perfection. It's a beautiful setting with food to match. Highly recommend a visit here for a little piece of Venetian culinary history. Thank you!

10/10The food was delicious. We had the 4 course tasting with paired wines. The mustard pickle with the beef tongue was such a good match and a fantastic dish. The service impeccable and the waiter was so knowledgeable about the wine, food ,and preparation I was very impressed and learnt a lot. TBH we stopped here for a chance lunch but they were finished service and preparing for dinner. They were so pleasant about it we decided to book for dinner a few days later instead. Delighted we did. Best meal and experience of our holiday.
