Was charged in USD without being acknowledged with 3% markup. And was asked for tipping more while there is already 10% service charged. Price is TTC if I understand well. Food was ok, quality/price is not good. Service is good. Ambience is cool.

My wife and I were shown a very nice corner table where we would not be bothered by traffic, yet gave us all the ambience the restaurant has to offer. The food was uniquely prepared and excellent.

This is a good resteraunt serving good well cooked food. The staff were nice and informative about each dish they presented. However we felt some dishes looked good but we're lacking in flavour. And other dishes were delicious but presented poorly. The dessert was a bit of creative magic but the lavender ice cream didn't work for us. Hopefully some of our advice maybe used to benefit future customers.

Dear Miss Burmistrova, we are sorry for your overly severe comment and we apologize for the bad mood it caused you. However, we believe we have to give some explanations, the cuisine of the Bistrot stands out especially for the particular proposals that refer to the history of the city and is not approved in terms of particular presentation and decoration of the dish like many excellent Michelin restaurants, but rather to a simple but modern re-proposal of dishes that belong to the roots of the Venetian-Italian gastronomic tradition. Evidently Miss Burmistrova did not grasp the message of food and wine culture that we proudly present to our Guests with great success and continuous recognition for over 30 years. However, we want to inform our future Customers that Bistrot de Venise Menu includes numerous other suggestive and interesting proposals linked to modern Venetian-Italian cuisine (see website) Sincerely The direction Sergio Fragiacomo
