5.5/10The food was fine. The first dish was a soup that was lacking flavor and lukewarm. The duck and lamb were good. The service was quite slow to begin. Nearly 1.5 hours between being seated and clearing the starter. The ambiance is a bit kitschy and there were strange things like brochures on the table that appeared to be selling you something before you even sat down. I found that tacky, almost to the point of being funny. We were allegedly supposed to receive a discount on food through the Fork, but I don’t think we did. I didn’t bother because I don’t enjoy debates with the restaurant. There are other places I would recommend in Venice

We work hard to offer our customers a memorable experience and we are sorry that you did not share your concerns with us here, so that we could talk about them together. Usually waiting times are not that long and from what we understand they weren't even on the day you dined with us, but if the service was too slow for you, we apologize. As regards the discount, the reservation made through The Fork can include a discount which however is only applied to the à la carte menu. It is clearly specified that the discount does not apply to drinks and tasting menus and we understand that you took the 4 courses ones. Also for this aspect it would have been useful if you had asked us when paying the bill, so we could have explained to you the reason for the lack of discount. Best regards, la Direzione

10/10This place is just outstanding in every way. The food was delicious and our server was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes, many of which are based on historic Venetian recipes. This plan should have a Michelin star.

10/10This was a culinary experience unlike any other. Serving dishes based on recipes from the 1200s, this restaurant is one of a kind. Superior service provided by Dara- with his eloquently poetic introductions to each dish - and his assistant Emanuele. The food was excellent and the service, superior. The whole experience was capped off with two desserts, also from the 13th century, where one was sprayed with bergamot and the other bathed in rose water on the spot! The restaurant itself is also supremely private and decorated in a lush manner. Highly recommended.

Everything we This restaurant is a must-visit! The food was delicious—clearly made with passion—and the entire experience was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the beautiful decor created a perfect, warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I was touched by the little details, like the adorable water bottle design, which added a sense of whimsy and personality to the experience. The squid ink pasta was simply unforgettable—refined, perfectly seasoned, and full of deep, authentic Venetian flavor. Each bite felt like a taste of the city itself. It’s the kind of meal that stays with you long after you’ve left. Truly, a place where you don’t just eat—you feel Venice. An absolute must-visit for anyone who loves food and beauty in equal measure.

10/10Beautiful cozy place with lots of comfort food. Huge wine list with 50? 60? wines by the glass. The waiter and sommelier was very knowledgeable. The slow cooked lamb was the highlight of my lunch.
