2.5/10The restaurant did not honour the reservation, they prioritised a bigger group that arrived at the same time, and even though half of their party had not yet arrived they were seated at the reserved table. At first, the staff admitted there had been a mistake with the reservation and we were assured they would fix the issue but after waiting for 20 minutes it became clear they were doing nothing to find us a table and were simply letting us wait for the next table to become available. Every time we asked for an update the staff was extremely rude, rushed past us with plates of olives whilst not acknowledging us and at one point I was hushed as if I was an inconvenience or doing something wrong by asking to be seated. Eventually I insisted they talk with us and simply let us know if there is no table we would go elsewhere, at that point they turned and blamed the situation on us arriving 10 minutes late (NB I called in advance to let them know we would be late and to confirm we would still have the table, we were told that’s “not a problem”). I have had dinner there before and the food is ok, but there is similar food with much better service available so I recommend other options as this is apparently hit-or-miss.

5/10We didn't have such a good experience at Bistrot Levante. It took 15 minutes before we could order drinks. The food took an unusually long time and we didn't get the tapas dishes at the same time. There were not many guests in the restaurant, so did not understand why it took so long. We waited 45 minutes before we got the last dish, which was a very simple salad that we had to ask for twice. They gave us regular bread when we asked for gluten-free, as we had to double check if it was actually gluten-free. When we went to pay, we told them about our experience and we got a total discount of 3 euros (gluten-free bread). We will definitely NOT be returning here.

9.5/10Be warned: the way the terraza fee (10%) is charged is by adding 10% to each item on the check instead of being a “10% terraza fee” on the check. Also, every 30 minutes buskers play and then request tips - but it’s still less annoying than the noisier indoor space.

About the restaurant
Wine of course goes hand in hand with gastronomy and in expanding the shop Jeroen and Rosa have realised their next ambition. With the introduction of a professional kitchen and Chef Rodney you can now call in for a bite to eat. Homely cooking created from local seasonal produce. Tapas style plates to enjoy with a glass of wine and the perfect way to explore the range. Always around 25 bottles open for sampling by the glass and feel free to choose a bottle from the shelf (shop price + 10€ cork fee).
The Vino & Co Friday nights have already achieved cult status and not just because of Jeroen's legendary pate. Great wine, great food and good company. New tastes, new smells and new ideas for Ibiza now including specialist beers and exclusive spirits for those that want to try something a little different.
Now open from Monday to Friday, from 5pm until 23pm. Gorgeous bistro classics that are perfect for sharing and of course, pairing beautifully with wine.

En una de las plazas más bellas y recónditas del Call, el antiguo barrio judío, se esconde un neobistrot tan cosmopolita que podría estar en cualquier parte del mundo. Un espacio coqueto y lleno de personalidad donde sirven una cocina inspirada en el levante mediterráneo –Oriente Medio, Grecia, Turquía...– pasada por un tamiz moderno y viajado. Hits como el hummus y el pan de pita recién traído de Israel, platos imaginativos como la tosta de uvas y tomates asados, deliciosas tartas caseras disponibles todo el día y una estupenda carta de vinos y cavas naturales son algunos de los sellos de la casa.
