A quaint spot with well thought out menu with things that are not typical but delicious. The wine knowledge from the staff was extremely helpful.

Terrible experience. Food was not a good standard & we could hear the microwave beeping before every course was brought out. We are in Sicily, the home of fresh ingredients & cooking, we had the 4 course tasting menu & only one course was edible.

Great food and atmosphere, the staff was also very professional and created a lovely wine tasting experience demonstrating knowledge about the different products. Portion sizes were a bit small, but the rest made up for it.

This restaurant is a gem! You have to go off the beaten tourist track to find it and it is well worth it. It has a small menu of excellent food and they have an encyclopedic knowledge of the wines that line the shelves and will find you something to match the food and your budget. I would strongly recommend!

Fantastic wine bar with amazing food and great service. The setting is really cool but it’s the food and wine, and the people who describe it with such passion, that makes this place a cut above the majority of Taormina’s restaurants. The beef ravioli and the house special (the squid) were my highlights from the menu but it was all delicious and the interesting wines selected by our host complemented each course well. Highly recommended!

Our second visit to Siculish to enjoy the delicious food and excellent hosting from the friendly and knowledgeable sommeliers Viola and Gabrielle who have a passion for their craft and Sicilian produce. The food is fresh and good quality and has some interesting (interesting good, not just interesting for the sake of it) and you can enjoy three courses with tailored wine pairings and not feel like you have over eaten. You can enjoy vegetarian only, or fish or meat or a combination of all three. Last night we had a mixture and the meat ravioli was outstanding, light yet so flavourful. The mackerel, lemon and potato pie is also a highlight plus the delicate slices of beef with an incredibly tasty sauce - YUM. All the wine pairings were spot on, you can choose between standard or premium, we went premium. In comparison with some of the ‘fine dining’ restaurants which score higher on TripAdvisor (which is a numbers game), Siculish is much better in flavour and incredible value for money

Viola made our visit memorable, she made us feel very welcome when we arrived, along with Gabriele who both gave very helpful and interesting descriptions of the Sicilian wine and the reason for the pairing with the food, showing knowledge and passion. I am sorry not to know the name of the chef as I would love to have been able to mention them by name too, the food was excellent, some lovely flavour combinations with a light touch, so nice to be able to enjoy four courses plus wine pairings and not come away feeling like you have eaten too much. I wonderful experience, thank you so much. Everything was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the 3 versions of caponata as well as the desserts that shared with my partner (dried lemon leaves, nuts and dried fruit plus biscuits, the honey and fig being my favourite - so lovely)

We discovered Siculishh by accident and were we glad we did. Right from arrival we knew this place was special. Viola and Gabriele were so friendly and enthusiastic about the food and wine. There is no wine list as it is all kept in Gabrielle’s head and boy does he know about wine. We elected to have dishes from the a la carte menu and Gabriele paired wines to go with our choices. The food was excellent and the wines were awesome. Stand out dishes were the gazpacho, ravioli (best I have ever eaten) baccala and Sicilian slow cooked beef. Do yourself a favour and visit Siculishh you will not regret it

Love the enthusiasm of the staff and enjoyed the passion for wine. The issue was with portion size of the food. Should never leave a restaurant hungry but sadly was the case here. I hope they address this and are successful.

This is the most pretentious, ridiculous restaurant I have ever eaten at in my entire life. They act like you are going to get the most elevated culinary experience of your life and what they deliver is no better than a microwaved meal that you could get from the freezer section of a supermarket. You also need to wait almost an hour for these tiny, bland mushy blobs of tasteless garbage. I honestly have no idea how they have all the great reviews. Don’t waste your time or money.

Amazing experience eating @ Siculishh. Located in the town but away from the Main Street - tucked away beautifully. The staff is amazing, food is 🤌🏼! A must visit during your time in Sicily!

Exceptional food and the wining parings were perfect, different wines and it’s definitely worth going for the better wines. The wines were explained and brought to life. All local. Really friendly staff and highly recommended, away from the bustle and you’re guaranteed a good meal and experience in my opinion!!

Loved this restaurant. The menu was limited to a few dishes that they do spectacularly well. We had the wine paring and the 2 young sommelier were fonts of knowledge and chose an array if wines to compliment our choices. Add in the industrial vibe and made for a great experience. Ever so slightly off the main thoroughfare but worth the slight detour!

Excellent simple bistrot with a small but carefully curated menu. Amazing selection of local wines and the best explanation of winemaking styles and pairings. Truly a delight that has satisfying food, charming attentive service and the option to enjoy wines you won't find everywhere else.

This was the best dining experience we had in Sicily! It is not on any of the main streets so I might not have seen it if I didn’t find it online. I’m so glad I did! We were there on a quiet night and were treated like family, which makes sense because the restaurant is run by a mother and son who clearly love what they do and pour all their love into it. There have a great selection of natural Sicilian wines. There is no wine list. Instead, you just have a conversation with the server about what you like, and he will make recommendations based on your food order. All the suggestions were excellent, and the wines complemented the food perfectly! My husband and I shared four dishes and four wines. We had a lovely burratta with tomato gazpacho, pasta with lemon and pistachio, delicious fish, and one of the best beef brisket I have ever eaten. All followed by an apple tart and ice cream. If you love good wine and good food, you must eat here!!!

A thoughtful, friendly, and hard-working group of folks. Food was excellent and great attention to detail in the recommended pairings. Wonderful to have such a wide array of Sicilian-only wines.

Relaxed restaurant tucked away from tourist streets. Waitress was very professional and knowledgeable about the food and wines. Wines from small Sicilian producers were excellent as was the food. Caponata was delicious, stuffed calamari also tasty and inventive. A selection of cheeses to finish with homemade pepper jam. A lovely experience.
