Great experience

A quaint spot with well thought out menu with things that are not typical but delicious. The wine knowledge from the staff was extremely helpful.

The serving staff were excellent. Attentive and passionate about the food and the wine.

Small intimate resturant with very tasty food and a great selection of Sicilian nature wine.

Mattia was our sever he chose an excellent sparkling rose and he also chose our desert the whole meal was fantastic and the owner was a really charming character

Terrible experience. Food was not a good standard & we could hear the microwave beeping before every course was brought out. We are in Sicily, the home of fresh ingredients & cooking, we had the 4 course tasting menu & only one course was edible.

Great food and atmosphere, the staff was also very professional and created a lovely wine tasting experience demonstrating knowledge about the different products. Portion sizes were a bit small, but the rest made up for it.

This restaurant is a gem! You have to go off the beaten tourist track to find it and it is well worth it. It has a small menu of excellent food and they have an encyclopedic knowledge of the wines that line the shelves and will find you something to match the food and your budget. I would strongly recommend!

Fantastic wine bar with amazing food and great service. The setting is really cool but it’s the food and wine, and the people who describe it with such passion, that makes this place a cut above the majority of Taormina’s restaurants. The beef ravioli and the house special (the squid) were my highlights from the menu but it was all delicious and the interesting wines selected by our host complemented each course well. Highly recommended!

Our second visit to Siculish to enjoy the delicious food and excellent hosting from the friendly and knowledgeable sommeliers Viola and Gabrielle who have a passion for their craft and Sicilian produce. The food is fresh and good quality and has some interesting (interesting good, not just interesting for the sake of it) and you can enjoy three courses with tailored wine pairings and not feel like you have over eaten. You can enjoy vegetarian only, or fish or meat or a combination of all three. Last night we had a mixture and the meat ravioli was outstanding, light yet so flavourful. The mackerel, lemon and potato pie is also a highlight plus the delicate slices of beef with an incredibly tasty sauce - YUM. All the wine pairings were spot on, you can choose between standard or premium, we went premium. In comparison with some of the ‘fine dining’ restaurants which score higher on TripAdvisor (which is a numbers game), Siculish is much better in flavour and incredible value for money

Viola made our visit memorable, she made us feel very welcome when we arrived, along with Gabriele who both gave very helpful and interesting descriptions of the Sicilian wine and the reason for the pairing with the food, showing knowledge and passion. I am sorry not to know the name of the chef as I would love to have been able to mention them by name too, the food was excellent, some lovely flavour combinations with a light touch, so nice to be able to enjoy four courses plus wine pairings and not come away feeling like you have eaten too much. I wonderful experience, thank you so much. Everything was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the 3 versions of caponata as well as the desserts that shared with my partner (dried lemon leaves, nuts and dried fruit plus biscuits, the honey and fig being my favourite - so lovely)

+2We discovered Siculishh by accident and were we glad we did. Right from arrival we knew this place was special. Viola and Gabriele were so friendly and enthusiastic about the food and wine. There is no wine list as it is all kept in Gabrielle’s head and boy does he know about wine. We elected to have dishes from the a la carte menu and Gabriele paired wines to go with our choices. The food was excellent and the wines were awesome. Stand out dishes were the gazpacho, ravioli (best I have ever eaten) baccala and Sicilian slow cooked beef. Do yourself a favour and visit Siculishh you will not regret it

Good wine place, but no good non-alcoholic options. Food varied in quality from very good to ok. Portions are very small

The staff are nice, but the food was not as I expected and hoped. I left unsatisfied and hungry.

Amazing passion and explanations of wine with food pairings. The stuffed octopus was out of this world! This is a true hidden jewel.

Best meal I had in Taormina. Great service, very knowledgeable about wine and modern cuisine with a twist, absolutely not pretentious. Lovely evening!
