Is very quick service and super friendly staff. The food was very good.I ate lite that day but everything I had is fantastic.... I especially like the salad with the steak.It was superb what a perfect mix of vegetables and what not.

The steak was over done and a little dry. We asked for medium with a hot pink center, it was well done with no pink. In addition, it wa luke warm when served.

Whenever my travels take me to Amsterdam I have dinner at Black and Blue. The food and service are always good, and there is consistently a busy, happy vibe that makes is easy to spend time. Plus the bottomless frites don't hurt!

Wife & I had an out of this world hamburger. Wife lived her cocktail - wonderful spirtz (Italian drink). Close to our hotel The Toren. Highly recommend the Black and Blue!

Vibrant, bustling well appointed restaurant by the canal with menu based around steak & salads but with vegan options available. We opted by flat steaks & Angus burger which was sumptuous. The food was cooked perfectly, presented well and served with warmly with a smile who looked after us throughout our dinner experience. Would highly recommend.

The food is quite over priced for that quality. One of our order was cool inside. Most of our food were not so delicious and just normal. One small tray of chips were shared for two person, a bit mean! No idea why there were so many ppl waiting and in full house. I guess there are more better steakhouse in amsterdam

The restaurant atmosphere and the service was quite good. However, the food was not at the same level. We ordered at beef tournedo and it was almost uneatable. It didn't look and taste as beef since it was far too dry, even when we ordered below medium!!! It was a pity of experience.

Staff remained good humoured despite internet issues. I was really impressed with them. Food was delicious. We didn’t like our first seat as it was in the middle of the room with people constantly walking by but staff moved us rot a quiet y table when we requested a change. Very good restaurant.

Really great food and waiting staff were more than helpful. However we had booked in advanced a table and were told manager/owner he did not have our booking and they were already overbooked as it was. Felt sorry waiting staff as they were run off their feet. Would recommend but bare that in mind

We attended on Christmas day and had a terrible experience - both food and service. The staff seemed overworked. The restaurant was clearly overbooked. Customers were waiting by our table the entire time we were there. No one came by to ask us if we want another drink. Food arrived 5 mins after we ordered - terrible quality. As we began eating we were told we would need to clear the table in 20 minutes. We were hoping to have a relaxing dinner but basically kicked out after an hour. Definitely the worst place we dined during our 4 days in Amsterdam.

This was our first night in Amsterdam and I had read about this restaurant back in the States. . It did not disappoint. The steak was delicious. My husband had hanger steak that was also delicious cooked perfectly. The fruit were perfect and the asparagus with cheese were cooked to perfection.

The restaurant was very busy but it was still had a cosy, warm vibe. It was windy, rainy, and cold outside but great food, service, and ambiance made it a great evening.
