The food was bland and lacking taste. My dish was meant to have had a hot sauce but it was cold. Very disappointed as this restaurant came with good Michelin reviews. Not a Michelin worthy experience at all. Added to that screaming children in the dining room was not the ideal setting. We left as quickly as we could.

For us, a mixed experience. The room is lovely, elegant, understated. A nice change in Genoa. The staff were excellent: allowed us to choose our table, very welcoming. We enjoyed a Fork discount: shared a bottle of wine, bottle of sparkling water, a chicken caesar salad as a starter, pesto pasta and then the cod. The Caesar was a little unexpected: head lettuce not Romaine? But the chicken was freshly grilled, delicious, the shaved Parmesan good quality, the dressing light (thank you!) A generous portion: more than enough for two to split. The pesto pasta: the pasta is a Genoevese traditional type, fresh. The pesto was good (as it should be here!). The let down was the cod. The menu indicated it was caught on the Ligurian coast which is why we chose it. Sadly, although presentation was elegant, didn't expect it to be cold and so lacking in flavor. Next time: the braised beef in wine sauce! (Someone at another table had the beef: looked excellent!)
