Bossa never disappoints with its delicious Mediterranean menu, wine selection and excellent service. A Tavira favorite!

Bossa is very nice and the food was good - but it is at the top end of pricing for Tavira restaurants. We paid almost €80 for 2 Burgers, 2 Coffees and a bottle of wine.

We only work with the best products available and our food are all made in the premises, the burger that you mention is made with a prime picanha cut from South America and is cut and manufactured in our premises, saying that, our restaurant is not a burger place, that’s also a reason for the price be higher than other places. For a more affordable meal you have other options in our menu that could be better for you. We hope to see you again in a near future. Kind regards

Wanted something a bit special for my partners birthday & this did not disappoint . Excellent service & food exceptional. The lady who greeted us & looked after deserves a mention. Yes it’s a bit expensive but not ridiculously so for the excellent food. I had the best tuna I have ever had. They really made her birthday special If you are in Tavira & want an excellent meal go you will not be disappointed!

Whilst the food was very nice the lady waitress was very abrupt throughout the evening, she came over very rude. She was stroppy when we asked for our meat well done and suggested picking something else, she was rude with saw some gravy on her tablecloth and snatched it off and in general quite a abrupt lady with our table.

Guided by the owner and knowledgable staff we chose a selection of starters followed by main courses of seared tuna, octopus, sausage risotto and duck. All perfectly cooked and presented. Good wine list and food choices available. Price point a little higher than other restaurants but still excellent value, certainly when compared to home!

Very lively place and the food (for six) was excellent. Interesting fusion cooking - Italian/Brazilian with some excellent dishes.

Quality of food was high, our pasta dishes were very tasty and spicy although portion size relatively small. All servers were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Great wine list. Try to get a table outside or near the door if you can. Our table was at the back and it was quite hot with a slight smell of damp pub which was a little unpleasant. Quite expensive but the quality of the food is very obvious and staff are invested in the restaurant ethos.

This was our first (certainly not our last) visit to Bossa. We live in Tavira and while we eat out frequently, we have our favorite places that we like to support. We’ve walked past Bossa numerous times and it was always busy and has very nice ambiance, but we never stopped to dine. It was my wife’s birthday so I decided to try something new. I was everything I’d hoped for and then some. The staff, particularly Alessandra, were very kind, engaging and professional. The staff has clearly been trained to be of service, not just the basics. The topper was when we ordered dessert the staff delivered it with a candle and sang happy birthday to her. As we paid and were leaving Alessandra made a point to thank us personally and again wished my wife a happy birthday. Needless to say, I scored lots of points with my wife.

We had lunch at this place. The service was nice. I had tuna steak and unfortunately for the price ~24 eur, it was bad. Overcooked, covered with too much sesame, and was not a nice portion size. The vegetables were alright, nothing extraordinary. I have some doubts about so good comments for this place. When I mentioned that tuna was overcooked, I got a comment from waiter that “ah okay.” If the restaurant is giving importance of caring the customer’s opinion, they should aim to fix it with a gesture. Also, note to owner of this place; stop defending that your food is the best; focus the opinions of your customer.

Regarding my self, I didn’t say with you mentioned, I was in a regular clients table and said that I was going to have for my lunch the same as she had as I love it. This restaurant has became a staple every year we come to Tavira. Amazing food and drinks, and the precious advice and attentiveness from the owner really makes a difference and adds a special unforgettable touch to the experience. Will come back again next year!

Second time there This time had a problem with food served duck breast uncuttable never mind chewable, beef the same. Few restaurants are perfect but I measured them on how they deal with a problem when there is one. Duck charge but beef ignored.

You wife was eating he picanha and didn't complain about it, I thought she was satisfied., that’s all. As you know my restaurant you could had told me and if it was a plroblem I would have changed. The food is absolutely fabulous! The staff is very professional and attentive. Alisandra is very attentive to all of her guests. The homemade pasta is outstanding! It’s a must visit when you are in Tavira!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends. They were happy to cater to our young child and the food was truly excellent. Very fairly priced for the quality of dishes. Would definitely recommend.

The food was good though took a while as the order had been misplaced. Ambiance was not good at all a large party was rather loud.

The level of service was outstanding, as was the food. A great experience, lots of help and advice about the menu and the wine which was excellent. This restaurant would be on the top of our list…. Can’t wait for the next visit. A must go if you are visiting Tavira, make sure you book.
