Quality of food was high, our pasta dishes were very tasty and spicy although portion size relatively small. All servers were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Great wine list. Try to get a table outside or near the door if you can. Our table was at the back and it was quite hot with a slight smell of damp pub which was a little unpleasant. Quite expensive but the quality of the food is very obvious and staff are invested in the restaurant ethos.

This was our first (certainly not our last) visit to Bossa. We live in Tavira and while we eat out frequently, we have our favorite places that we like to support. We’ve walked past Bossa numerous times and it was always busy and has very nice ambiance, but we never stopped to dine. It was my wife’s birthday so I decided to try something new. I was everything I’d hoped for and then some. The staff, particularly Alessandra, were very kind, engaging and professional. The staff has clearly been trained to be of service, not just the basics. The topper was when we ordered dessert the staff delivered it with a candle and sang happy birthday to her. As we paid and were leaving Alessandra made a point to thank us personally and again wished my wife a happy birthday. Needless to say, I scored lots of points with my wife.

We had lunch at this place. The service was nice. I had tuna steak and unfortunately for the price ~24 eur, it was bad. Overcooked, covered with too much sesame, and was not a nice portion size. The vegetables were alright, nothing extraordinary. I have some doubts about so good comments for this place. When I mentioned that tuna was overcooked, I got a comment from waiter that “ah okay.” If the restaurant is giving importance of caring the customer’s opinion, they should aim to fix it with a gesture. Also, note to owner of this place; stop defending that your food is the best; focus the opinions of your customer.

Regarding my self, I didn’t say with you mentioned, I was in a regular clients table and said that I was going to have for my lunch the same as she had as I love it. This restaurant has became a staple every year we come to Tavira. Amazing food and drinks, and the precious advice and attentiveness from the owner really makes a difference and adds a special unforgettable touch to the experience. Will come back again next year!

Second time there This time had a problem with food served duck breast uncuttable never mind chewable, beef the same. Few restaurants are perfect but I measured them on how they deal with a problem when there is one. Duck charge but beef ignored.
