10/10We had dinner at Botín for the first time while on vacation with my husband and my parents last week. We made reservation in advance as I knew that it was always very busy and thank god we did. The service was amazing, the place is beautiful and the food omg. We had the baby pig for us 4 and it was sooooo delicious. We had amazing experience, recommended 100%

5.5/10We were looking forward to visit this place and made reservation up front, we were nicely welcomed and everything looked amazing until we were sat down and our waiter realized we only speak English. We had to ask for bottle of water 4 times before he finally brought it to our table. We didn’t receive the food for over an hour, and it’s completely normal when the place is busy, however we realized that 2 tables with Spanish speakers, that made orders after us and ordered the same food as we, were taken care of first. It was very unpleasant experience for us and we were greatly disappointed. The food was good but overall all experience makes me believe it wasn’t worth our time. I hope other English speakers will not encounter the same treatment as we did.

10/10A charming place with a tasty menu and beautiful atmosphere, Kim here for the history, and love the food. We sat at the ground floor, And Found a tiny Wine Cellar right behind our table.

9/10We were sitted quickly with a reservation. The service and ambience was great. The white sangria was great, however, the roasted pig portion was small for the price and a bit overrated. It is definitely no match to the Filipino lechon de leche. The grilled sole fish and Russian salad were just ok too. . Overall I gave it 4stars more for the overall “Botin” experience.

8.5/10Food was good but not great. Too overrated. And I didn’t like the fact that they put a basket with 4 breads on the table without saying they charged 1,85 euros each. And we only had 2. So almost 8 euros for the bread. Not fair.

7.5/10The restaurant is beautiful and charming It has the old world charm . We had the two specialties, suckling pig and leg of lamb . The leg of lamb was very good . The pig however left a lot to be desired. Hardly any meat and lacked taste .

10/10The Botin restaurant is the perfect place to have a dinner in Madrid. I always visit Botin when I go to Spain. Every small detail shows that someone has thought abou it - the food, the wines, the service, the atmosphere.

8/10Historic restaurant so pretty cool! The suckling pig was delicious as was the salad. The server was rather humorless and almost rude- definitely felt pressured to turn the table. We were seating immediately, 10:30pm. Was very busy. Live music too.

4.5/10The restaurant survives on being oldest in the world! Food was terrible! Other diners in room were in agreement. The sangria and dessert were the only up sides. Ordered baby lam leg… never have had lamb leg that included ribs, liver and fat! Could find nothing to really stick my fork into. Noticed that no one in the entire room ordered the baby suckling pig which is why the place is famous. Really cannot recommend this restaurant at all. I say go and have some sangria a salad and dessert.

9/10The atmosphere was very nice. We did feel a bit rushed with selecting our beverage and what meals we wanted. I think this is due to the popularity of the restaurant and the fact they have a tight reservation window to keep.

8.5/10The food was good not excellent but good . Expected better! However, the dinner started out bad because of the host that I had to check in with for our reservations We had 12 people and 3 people at the very last minute (on my way there) told me they couldn’t make it. When I told the host that at the check in he got really mad he shook his head . To my disbelief he then scolded me and in a loud voice that everyone could hear said “and when were you going to tell me this and why I didn’t call. “ I said “I literally just found out on my way.” He then started speaking in Spanish to another person and then told me to follow the gentleman. As a visitor to Spain I was in disbelief. I am sorry the others didn’t come . It was not my doing and out of my control. The restaurant should be more understanding. If he is mad be mad at those who didn’t come but he needs to know things do come up for people. I am sure I am not and will not be the only group to have cancellations. But we enjoyed the evening … ordering wine and our food. No one complained and if it wasn’t for that host I am sure the night would have been excellent. But. I rate it all just okay- good.

10/10My partner and I decided to have a late lunch at Botin. It happened to be their opening time, and we were warmly greeted by the waiter who promptly seated us. After we made our selections, our appetizers were served with impressive speed. The main courses followed suit without delay. We relished our meal, savoring the renowned suckling pig and the beef mignon botin, both prepared to perfection. The portions were generous, satisfying our appetites, and the quality justified the price. In summary, Botin truly lives up to the hype.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

8.5/10Nice atmosphere. You have to come here... the oldest restaurant in the world! Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Food was good - not the best I have ever had, but definitely tasty. I had the suckling pig. The rosé wine is very dry, if that's what you like.

10/10The atmosphere in the cellar was so unique! We loved all our dishes. The lamb, pork and filet mignon were all outstanding! For dessert we had the cheesecake and mascarpone /mango sorbet dish. Both were delicious. This place is a unique experience with outstanding food. A little pricey but worth it!

4/10Terrible management and customer service. There was no organization for incoming customers. Tables were packed too close together. None of the waiters greeted me and no one bothered showing me to my table in the basement. The manager/owner just pointed me to go downstairs then left. I had been waiting to be acknowledged for several minutes and was treated like trash. If you want customer’s money, then at least pretend to be nice and respectful.

9/10The oldest running restaurant in the word did not disappoint! The suckling pig was moist and the skin flavorful and crunchy. The cream cake and creme brûlée for dessert were mouthwatering and the service was excellent! Expect to pay over 100 euros for 2 people .
