This is possibly one of our favorite places to eat of all time! The chef does an excellent job creating a variety of flavor, texture, and color it’s truly amazing! The wait staff provided us with excellent suggestions with wine, second dishes, and desert. The beef cheek was like a warm hug in your mouth just as he explained, and the apple desert with vanilla ice cream was possibly one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. We will for sure be back next time we are in Rome!

In Rome for a week, first time just fell upon this lovely place, second time deliberate. They took us close to kitchen closing time, warmly and graciously. Never rushed. Food is outstanding with a gourmet flare to it. Highly recommend.

+1Food was authentic and generally populated with locals which was a really good sign. Food took a while to come out, not reheating frozen food in 5 mins so that was another good sign. Very good flavors, traditional recipes used, my Nana would have been proud of that chef!!

6.5/10the food was good. I ate at the restaurant two years ago. In my last visit in Rome food and service were than excellent. so I came back. I expected some new dishes in the menu and excellent service. unfortunately service was good but not excellent. There were no new dishes compared to my last visit and that was disappointing

9/10I loved the incentive creative dishes, beautiful presentation. I purchased the wine pairing option but didn't think the selected wines complimented the dish they were paired with well. That could definitely be improved. Flavors of the dishes on their own and the wines each was good.

10/10One of our best experiences in Rome overall. The tasting menu is a delight. The staff is exceedingly courteous and nice and the ambience evokes an ancient trattoria with an elegant and contemporary feel.

10/10This restaurant was a great find! The food was incredible, from new concepts to taste and presentation. Service was excellent as well. We especially loved the zucchini tartar and the lamb kabobs. The wine selection was exceptional and the dessert was an explosion of flavor! We highly recommend dining here! You won't be disappointed

10/10Every time we come to Roma we consistently visit Tredici. Every time it just gets better. Wonderful curated wine list of well-priced taste sensations and the exquisitely seasonal, regional food. Every single detail, the homemade pastas, the inventive, delicious antipasti, the mains, the olive oils, the Amaros, the crockery, the exceptional bread which will come with minty green olive oil and an almond and tomato salsa! The kindest, most generous service (they speak great Inglese here too!) We constantly recommend Tredici to foodies and world travellers and they all rave too. Tredici we love you.

After a long day walking the streets of Rome, we sat down to dinner at Bottega Tredici. We decided to try the Chef’s Choice tasting menu. After consulting with our server, Jacobo, we selected a bottle of Orange Wine, which we had never tried before. They brought out fresh bread with a tomato sauce, and then our tasting selections began: an amuse bouche of oxtail tacos, beef tartare topped with garlic and mushrooms. Next came grilled artichoke on a bed of puff pastry, topped with a parsley glaze, with dots of garlic aioli. Next came Gnocchi Alla Amatriciana, with crunchy guanciale bits. Next was small macaroni in a cream sauce, followed by veal medallions and whipped potatoes. Each portion was small, but there were many! Desserts were blueberry sorbet on dark chocolate shavings, mango and passion fruit sorbet with white chocolate sauce to spread on warm sweetbread, and a petite four assortment. What a truly amazing meal prepared by the chef, with each dish described by Jacobo.

9/10Lovely, welcoming place where the servers enthusiasm for their food makes up for any limitations in the food. The food is good, but doesn't quite reach 5* with the exception of a few items: the tiramisu is by far the best I've had (I don't like mushy cookies, and this tiramisu has crispy cookies) with a deep, dark cocoa sprinkle that was wonderful. The other dish that we really enjoyed was the berry sorbet as a palate cleanser. Unfortunately, their "gnocchi" ends up being quite heavy on the dough and is the heartiest dish. These are truly small portions, but perfect for the tasting menu. The wine was excellent and a fair price, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, busy and cheerful. We would definitely eat here again but perhaps not order the tasting menu.
