7/10The dishes were not that exceptional-the poached poultry had very little taste. The wine pairing was a huge disappointment-we upgraded it and should have ordered a good bottle instead since the wines did not complement the food and were not memorable. Disappointed in both the food and the wine.

We had a wonderful experience at Boutary. The staff provided excellent service — very attentive, professional, and friendly throughout the evening. 8.5/10Overall we liked the food, however, all of us disliked the “meat” dish, mostly, because the “meat” was chicken. We felt that a restaurant of this caliber at this price point should not be serving chicken for the meat course. In addition, we didn’t like the taste of the dish. All of us didn’t finish the course and left most of it on our plates. When our server cleared the table, he didn’t even ask us why we didn’t eat it and didn’t ask if we liked it. One of us said to another server that we really didn’t like this dish and she said she would tell the chef. After this course, the service that had been very attentive and friendly suddenly deteriorated. This was my second time in this restaurant. I loved it the first time. There will be no third time. With all the wonderful restaurants in Paris, this one wasn’t worth it.

Our meat course is, of course, not basic chicken : it is a filet of Bresse poultry, which is among the very bests in the world, carefully poached then lacquered with sauce Poulette. You may encounter this poultry serving in many other fine dining restaurants in France. The way our team has responded to your feedback though has a lot to be improved. 10/10This was a warm way to welome my Father to his first time in France. It was the first time we ever had sword fish or caviar and the food was very tasty and fresh. Great representation of France. I just moved here in September and definitely plan on visiting again soon. Thanks again!

4.5/10The experience wasn't consistent. Some waiters introduced the food very nicely, and some barely introduced it at all. I don't mind what you do - but whatever you choose to do, do it consistently. A lot of the food was a miss. The pork canapes basically tasted of barbecue sauce (despite having nice ingredients). Multiple dishes had quite delicate flavours which were great but paired with miso on the plate which completely overpowered the delicate flavours. The chicken was boring - it was literally just half a chicken breast and not even particularly well cooked. The fish again, was a bit bland. They also occasionally pour sauces for you. Doing this multiple times is a bit superfluous. But some team members didn't do it with much care or attention. Why go to the trouble if you're not going to do it nicely? Maybe the wait staff in question was in training and therefore not confident to deliver the spiel and didn't know how to pour well. Nevertheless, it was a lacklustre experience.
