With the bright red and nice looking front of the restaurant it already stands out in the street. We got a warm welcome from the staff and were brought to the table. The staff is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They explain the options on the menu very well and service was very timely while not feeling rushed. We had the 5-course meal with the addition of the caviar of the day and cheese paired with wines. The wines were perfectly timed with the courses and both were explained very well. Every individual course had its own uniqueness and rich flavors. The chef did an amazing job with matching flavor profiles and different textures of food. Also the paring with the wines was incredibly thoughtful and very well matched. We want to specially thank Frédéric for his amazing attentiveness, exceptional professionalism and his outstanding competence. A real credit to the restaurant. Thank you team Boutary for our first amazing dinner of the year!

Exceptional dinner, simply fresh and well balanced, each dish with small tasty surprises, classic enough to remain truly enjoyable. There is no Blingbling atmosphere in this Caviar house, Christophe, the young chef is from French Britany, humble and talented indeed. Last but not least, “L’accord” dish & wine of the new year eve menu was absolutely amazing, which is rare enough to be underlined, obviously wine is a true passion for the sommelier Frederic. It was our first time at Boutary House, definitly not the last.

We arrived a bit late due to a social event running over time, but the maître d'hôtel and the Chef were kind enough to accommodate. Great caviar and dish pairing. Also great wine selection including beaujolais not affected by the recent years increase in temperatures due to climate change. It is definitely one of the top 3 restaurants in Paris for me in a great location and with a quaint atmosphere.

The dishes were not that exceptional-the poached poultry had very little taste. The wine pairing was a huge disappointment-we upgraded it and should have ordered a good bottle instead since the wines did not complement the food and were not memorable. Disappointed in both the food and the wine.

Overall we liked the food, however, all of us disliked the “meat” dish, mostly, because the “meat” was chicken. We felt that a restaurant of this caliber at this price point should not be serving chicken for the meat course. In addition, we didn’t like the taste of the dish. All of us didn’t finish the course and left most of it on our plates. When our server cleared the table, he didn’t even ask us why we didn’t eat it and didn’t ask if we liked it. One of us said to another server that we really didn’t like this dish and she said she would tell the chef. After this course, the service that had been very attentive and friendly suddenly deteriorated. This was my second time in this restaurant. I loved it the first time. There will be no third time. With all the wonderful restaurants in Paris, this one wasn’t worth it.
