4.5/10We had the pleasure to spend New Year’s Eve at braise 2 years ago during a holiday trip in Paris , we couldn’t stop talking about it to our friends , an amazing fancy dinner and a wonderful service . We now live in Paris and our first choice for a new year’s celebration was Braise Last night was on a different level but not for the better. Extremely disappointed with a very mediocre performance by the kitchen and a poor service . It was the kind of meal you can get at any time in any ok bistro in Paris not bad but definitely not what we had 2 years ago . We will do our homework for next year celebration

5.5/10Glasses weren’t changed between champagne and wine. At table very bright lights from fridge were in our eye line. The wine was corked I believe. It was a bit sommaire.

10/10Every dish was better than the last. Great food and friendly waitstaff. Can't wait to go back on my next trip to Paris.

10/10Yes cozy & comfortable. This restaurant is a carnivore’s dream. With delicious complimentary sauces and vegetables. So different, but strong; the aromas, the taste, the presentation. No reason for us to leave THE 8th - it’s here.

10/10If you like well, prepared dishes, and enjoy the smell of a barbecue, which gives you the feeling of summer vacation than you at the right place. The dishes are always a pleasure and the lunch menu is reasonably priced with around €40. They always have a pre-starter and after desert. The staff is incredibly kind and it’s always a pleasure to go there.

6.5/10Below expectations. Meat was undercooked. They had “ran out of cheese”. And service was slow. Disappointing.

8.5/10Super fine beef! We had Picanha - Blonde de Galice (matured 30 days) which was truly exceptional. Gnocchi fumés for a starter fantastic. From a different taste point the Saint-Jacques de la baie de Seine were also superb. For a desert Chocolat fumé was great! What we did not like was the preparation of vegetables. As a side to one of the dishes there was a baked cauliflower coked too much and as a result a kind of a soft "pulp". Not matching the crispness of meat. The quite innovative desert Carotte nouvelle au barbecue was also soft and gummy. Maybe this was intentional but we did not like it. Overall service ok, but many waiters were like "it's my first day and I have to ask somebody". Price with €80 wine for 2 was €250. Very good value for money.

10/10Excellent dishes and perfect and kind service. They made meals with creative cooking methods so I hardly guess what the dishes made by and how.
