It took a while before our order was taken but the food came out very quickly. Mussels were plentiful and delicious.

We just were overwhelmed with what place to choose in Bruges as there are so many restaurants. We wanted mussels and fish options so our proprietor if the inn where we ar staying suggested Breydel De Coninc. We were graciously greeted and were aeated upstairs in a lovely fresh white but very cozy room. Very different than downstairs which is wonderful but more lively but we liked the quieter upstairs. As for the meal… we were not disappointed! It was excellent!!! I had the grilled squid … beautiful and tasty!!! I had the spicy mussels and loved them as mussels need a flavorful sauce!!! They were cooked perfectly. My husband had the salmon … also cooked perfectly. My only problem is I didn’t have room for the Pavlova dessert!!!! It was a perfect dinner!

very busy restaurant went on a saturday night only three staff on over two floors and they had over booked by 35 people the staff were very good had a little bit of a wait but the food was very good

+1We had a delicious dinner at Breydel-DeConinc. We had the mussels appetizer for two and the fried calamari. Bothe were delicious and came out in a timely manner. For the entree I Had the lobster Breydel with cream sauce and vegetables and it was delicious. My husband had the grilled lobster and it was also good and very flavorful. The service was good but not great. Had it been great I would have done a 5 across the board. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner in Bruges.

Calm, stylish place with a lovely look and feel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and on top of the small details. The food was delicious and very well cooked from start to finish. Prices aren’t cheap, but the quality makes it good value. I’d happily come back for a relaxed meal or a special occasion.

Very good and fast service. Nice place with clean aquarium and impressing first floor. Half of the people are locals. Close to the main square. We took the lunch starter ok but main dish mussels were a bit undercooked. I think they have at different time different chefs because last experience was much better.

Arrived at time for my reservation. Ordering went well. The problem was time between first course and the main dish. It took 35 minutes. When I asked the waiter why it took so long, he didn’t know what to answer. I felt that they forgot my table. The main dish was very salty. Overall, 2h for a lunch experience, it’s a lot of time.

We had a delicious lunch of mussels and fries, and grilled salmon. The staff was extraordinary. The server asked what languages we spoke, and he was able to adapt to those languages. The desserts were also equally delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. A very lovely, elegant place.

The staffs were too busy to even take the order. Didn’t have food and left before ordering itself.

Mussels and the service were both outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant. We had the mussels in white wine sauce - fabulous. Also, want to call out the fantastic and warm service staff at the restaurant, who made the meal special

It is a nice and centrally located fish restaurant. Prices are average for Brugge which makes of the restaurant a good choice. However the decor and ambiance are average

Fresh seafood. Fish cooking options were limited to pan fried and would be good to offer charcoal grilled or oven baked.

Breydel-De Coninc was recommended to us by our tour guide who is from Bruges. The mussels and fries were wonderful! The service was excellent. Two members of our group indulged in the pavlova for dessert and swooned. We would all definitely go back.

This was a terrible dining experience. We ordered lobster and oysters. The oysters had a strong fishy smell and were clearly not fresh, which made them extremely unpleasant to eat. The service was also very poor. It was obvious that the staff treated locals and tourists differently. They didn’t smile at all during our visit, yet their attitude towards French-speaking guests was noticeably much friendlier. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We chose this restaurant because we wanted mussels - and they were absolutely delicious! Really very good. Lovely friendly service that wasn't too much. All in all a lovely experience.

upper floor at the end was extremely warm thus unpleasant, when other guests left, we asked to open a window and the waiter helped as with the request, making the ambience pleasant. Main courses were excellent (mussels and boulliabesse), starters were nice. Due to upper floor service was a bit slow, nevertheless gentle. Definatelly a must go for seafood
