I would like to start by thanking you for the fantastic service. The place is very beautiful, but unfortunately the kitchen did not live up to the beauty of the location. The dishes lacked soul, and some products, such as the bread and the cheese, were dry. This left us quite disappointed. I hope you can improve the quality.

It was a pleasure being there. We had the chance to be served by Sylvia. She was very nice with us, that made the experience particularly unforgettable. The food was awesome. I really recommend this place.

Waited 40 minutes for our prédessert, not even our main dessert. So we just left. The “veau” Was very tasteless and there was a little metal ball in the middle which was in my mouth. The servers were very nice though.

The service was sloppy and inconsistent for a Retaurant which would like to present itself as a upmarket.

+1We ordered a 7 courses set menu. Food was amazing. We were sat outside the balcony which was nice when the sun was out, but the table next to us were smoking throughout the evening and they ruined our dining experience as we were not able to taste and smell the food properly. They could have separate the smoking and non-smoking areas for better guest experience. Also, we booked a 7pm reservation (the earliest time) as we had other evening plan after the dinner, but the food only started serving around 8:15. They missed our cold appetisers, the waitress was very apologetic and was quick to check it after we complained we hadn’t had food for a good 45min after our 1st appetiser. We ended having our mains after 9:30pm and finished off the dessert around 10:30pm. I appreciate fine-dining served food slower so that guest can chat and experience the ambience. But it was hard to enjoy the experience with hungry stomach and covering in cigarettes smoke the whole 3.5hours! Could be improved…

This place is one of the best restaurants in Brussels. The place is beautiful and the food extraordinary. Staff is very professional and the chef is outstanding. Have been many times. Always happy!

I had one of the Christmas menus which was excellent. Service was very attentive. I was placed in a separate room with a few tables only and it felt very private, very quiet. Overall an excellent experience including value for money !

The terrace is a beautiful place for dinner in the summer. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The carpaccio of red tuna and the breast of duck were simply excellent. A delightful evening all around.

Nice location. The food is ok, but honestly a bit below the level of real fine cuisine, even if the intention is there… Service is somehow helpful. Full of good intentions, but lacks excellence eon the execution. Seeing the price it is a bit problematic

+3Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was good, but could be more refined to really justify the price that is comparable to low level Michelin star restaurant. One thing that we really didn’t appreciate was the lack of attention to detail in the bathroom. Toilet paper was super duper cheap and thin, and the hand soap used was without a doubt of very poor quality. Skimping on something to personal is quite disrespectful.

Usually I am never disappointed by a restaurant reviewed in the Michelin guide but here are indeed some exceptions. This restaurant is one of them. The quality and taste of the food was uneven. Some good stuff, others less but nothing exceptional. Service à la carte was extremely low and above all the menu doesnt list important details information. Would be nice to know the caviar is produced in Poland by a brand I didn’t know but still using names of re known brands. Only one selection of wine by the glass… and a few other details that stopped me from enjoying completely the experience

Very good food but we were close to the door which kept opening and letting draft despite our requests to have it closed. Ask for table near window or back of the room. We were also close to the table where dishes were being served attending to disagreements and tensions between the waiters…. Our waiter was friendly but service was slow, place was noisy. I expected a bit more…..

Sadly, Brugmann is not what it used to be. The food was good but far from exceptional. The service has clearly declined (waiters did not provide explanations to the menu options to our guests. The kids waited for 1.30h for their food and the adults had +40 min of wait between some of the menu dishes). There are better places in Brussels where to go to enjoy your meal.

Disappointed. Noisy place. People talking loudly. The food was very fusion and deviated from the original. As a starter I ordered the foie gras de canard du sud-ouest farandole de boules magiques, but there was little flavor in the fois gras and the rest of the dish didn't please me. As a main course I had the magret de canard à l'orange, but the meat was overcooked and felt rubbery when chewed. The orange sauce was great, but I couldn’t eat the meat. I tried to exchange my dish with my friend's, but his was worse than mine so I didn't eat and left the restaurant hungry. I didn't dare to order a dessert as the first two courses left me unhappy. The service was good, but if the Italian lady who served us showed a smile every now and then it would have been nice. I don't know if I'll be back someday, but compared to the fine restaurants I usually go to in Brussels and London, Brugmann is a little behind and I think their chef could do better!

We had the fixed Christmas menu at Brugmann on Christmas Day. There were 7 courses, so a lot of food and each course was very tasty. My partner is vegetarian and they offered him veggie options without any problems. The service was swift, and it being Christmas it was very busy - so our waiter sometimes forgot what we had already asked for (e.g. the wine)... It's not the food that disappoints, it's the service and overall design of the place. The staff are very friendly, but you can tell they're disorganised - e g. it was not clear who was in charge overall. For a place that wants to be silver service / high end Michelin style, you need to pay attention to detail: dress the same and professionally (so no trainers, no jeans, tuck in your shirts etc) - don't take a cigarette break and come to our table with horrible cigarette breath to explain the next course. Replace the service station / payment desk with something where the paint is not peeling. It's the little things that count at this level, especially when charging top €€ to your customers .

Her birthday. Service was exceptional. The fish tartare with caviar was a dish that will be remembered and spoken about for years. So good.
