10/10The terrace is a beautiful place for dinner in the summer. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The carpaccio of red tuna and the breast of duck were simply excellent. A delightful evening all around.

7/10Nice location. The food is ok, but honestly a bit below the level of real fine cuisine, even if the intention is there… Service is somehow helpful. Full of good intentions, but lacks excellence eon the execution. Seeing the price it is a bit problematic

9/10+3Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was good, but could be more refined to really justify the price that is comparable to low level Michelin star restaurant. One thing that we really didn’t appreciate was the lack of attention to detail in the bathroom. Toilet paper was super duper cheap and thin, and the hand soap used was without a doubt of very poor quality. Skimping on something to personal is quite disrespectful.

6.5/10Usually I am never disappointed by a restaurant reviewed in the Michelin guide but here are indeed some exceptions. This restaurant is one of them. The quality and taste of the food was uneven. Some good stuff, others less but nothing exceptional. Service à la carte was extremely low and above all the menu doesnt list important details information. Would be nice to know the caviar is produced in Poland by a brand I didn’t know but still using names of re known brands. Only one selection of wine by the glass… and a few other details that stopped me from enjoying completely the experience

8/10Very good food but we were close to the door which kept opening and letting draft despite our requests to have it closed. Ask for table near window or back of the room. We were also close to the table where dishes were being served attending to disagreements and tensions between the waiters…. Our waiter was friendly but service was slow, place was noisy. I expected a bit more…..

4.5/10Sadly, Brugmann is not what it used to be. The food was good but far from exceptional. The service has clearly declined (waiters did not provide explanations to the menu options to our guests. The kids waited for 1.30h for their food and the adults had +40 min of wait between some of the menu dishes). There are better places in Brussels where to go to enjoy your meal.

4.5/10Disappointed. Noisy place. People talking loudly. The food was very fusion and deviated from the original. As a starter I ordered the foie gras de canard du sud-ouest farandole de boules magiques, but there was little flavor in the fois gras and the rest of the dish didn't please me. As a main course I had the magret de canard à l'orange, but the meat was overcooked and felt rubbery when chewed. The orange sauce was great, but I couldn’t eat the meat. I tried to exchange my dish with my friend's, but his was worse than mine so I didn't eat and left the restaurant hungry. I didn't dare to order a dessert as the first two courses left me unhappy. The service was good, but if the Italian lady who served us showed a smile every now and then it would have been nice. I don't know if I'll be back someday, but compared to the fine restaurants I usually go to in Brussels and London, Brugmann is a little behind and I think their chef could do better!
