8.5/10It was the first time that I came to Cafe du Stad but I will definitely plan a second visit! We came for the Menu à Gogo (as much as you can) Fondue Chinoise. We got a nice "apéritif" of shrimps and a starter of Italian Burrata with tomatoes. Then the Fondue Chinoise with beef, chicken and shrimps, accompanied by French fries. To close a good Crème Caramel. Portions were very generous and the discount was applied seamlessly. Only the glass of red wine which I had was a little bit below the average. In summary: great price-to-quality dinner and I will come back for sure!

10/10A typical Geneva Bistro that offer good cozy friendly atmosphere, Good experience of Portuguese red wine choice (not only) and very good meat and dessert. Service is friendly, helpful, discreet and fast. Worth trying out.... My second time with my wife and we definitely satisfied to make Café du Stade part of our favourite list.

6.5/10We had the perch filets with french fries and courgettes. The food was fine, supposedly fresh from the lake. The cafe however is rather dated, old style but not in a good way. Basically we were cold, sitting inside of course, so the food got cold rather quickly. Plus the room smells of ... cooking oil, a fondue nearby, so much we didn't want to prolong our stay. Maybe they should air the room it but heat it afterward?

2.5/10Starters (terrine de foie gras and pulpo a la galega) were extremely salty and the main dishes (steak and dorade) were overcooked and chewy. We came in the past to the restaurant and we found that the qualiy of the food and of the service has worsened significantly

7.5/10The food was good we had the Chinese fondue and the pineapple w vanilla icecream. The waiter was so kind enough to provide us chicken instead of shrimp because my friend doesn't eat beef and pork plus we are allergic to shrimp. That time we only had an options in a gogo menu. When we arrived they gave us some olives bread and salami. The only minimal thing I could say is that the sauce of the salad I wish they could provide us like lemon salt and pepper plus olive oil because it was a bit dry but all and all the food was good and the fries were fresh.

8/10Food was good, just waiting time was a bit longer for everything, including getting bill, ordering, etc. Volume of the food was big, but would be good to have choices of rice and vegetables together with the meat. will go again next time.

2/10We booked a table for six, and we arrived on time. However, the table was given away to a group. The owner said she did not look at her phone for our reservation and did not even try to accommodate. She made us wait outside at an empty table without cutlery laid out, and for 20 minutes. Another group came later and got service before us. We felt totally ignored and then asked for the owner to come and explain. She shouted at us saying that we were complicated and it was a normal practice to wait for service in this vicinity. She said we were wasting her time asking about a table belonging to us. Really rude owner and no service mind at all, and not even felt that it wsd her fault not securing a table for us. How then could we rely on using this application for booking restaurants when the owner can get away with her mistake/lack of attention so easily. She even said that, in case we wrote bad comments about her restaurant, she would argue the contrary. Let's be fair about this situation. We just needed a table that we had reserved, not wanting to cause any scene. First time for me to be treated in restaurants with such extremely bad manners....
