It was the first time that I came to Cafe du Stad but I will definitely plan a second visit! We came for the Menu à Gogo (as much as you can) Fondue Chinoise. We got a nice "apéritif" of shrimps and a starter of Italian Burrata with tomatoes. Then the Fondue Chinoise with beef, chicken and shrimps, accompanied by French fries. To close a good Crème Caramel. Portions were very generous and the discount was applied seamlessly. Only the glass of red wine which I had was a little bit below the average. In summary: great price-to-quality dinner and I will come back for sure!

We had the perch filets with french fries and courgettes. The food was fine, supposedly fresh from the lake. The cafe however is rather dated, old style but not in a good way. Basically we were cold, sitting inside of course, so the food got cold rather quickly. Plus the room smells of ... cooking oil, a fondue nearby, so much we didn't want to prolong our stay. Maybe they should air the room it but heat it afterward?

Classic Swiss / Portuguese dishes. Good ambiance with a few birthday parties at the same time we were there. But I think that made the service a little slow.

A non-pretentious cozy place where food is tasty (and plenty) and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great place for a laid-back dinner with family and friends. We´ll be back.

The food was good we had the Chinese fondue and the pineapple w vanilla icecream. The waiter was so kind enough to provide us chicken instead of shrimp because my friend doesn't eat beef and pork plus we are allergic to shrimp. That time we only had an options in a gogo menu. When we arrived they gave us some olives bread and salami. The only minimal thing I could say is that the sauce of the salad I wish they could provide us like lemon salt and pepper plus olive oil because it was a bit dry but all and all the food was good and the fries were fresh.

Food was good, just waiting time was a bit longer for everything, including getting bill, ordering, etc. Volume of the food was big, but would be good to have choices of rice and vegetables together with the meat. will go again next time.
