It was the first time that I came to Cafe du Stad but I will definitely plan a second visit! We came for the Menu à Gogo (as much as you can) Fondue Chinoise. We got a nice "apéritif" of shrimps and a starter of Italian Burrata with tomatoes. Then the Fondue Chinoise with beef, chicken and shrimps, accompanied by French fries. To close a good Crème Caramel. Portions were very generous and the discount was applied seamlessly. Only the glass of red wine which I had was a little bit below the average. In summary: great price-to-quality dinner and I will come back for sure!

I loved the all you can eat charbonnade, the meat was of good quality :) Friendly place, efficient at lunch. We will come back to try the other options.

We had the perch filets with french fries and courgettes. The food was fine, supposedly fresh from the lake. The cafe however is rather dated, old style but not in a good way. Basically we were cold, sitting inside of course, so the food got cold rather quickly. Plus the room smells of ... cooking oil, a fondue nearby, so much we didn't want to prolong our stay. Maybe they should air the room it but heat it afterward?

Classic Swiss / Portuguese dishes. Good ambiance with a few birthday parties at the same time we were there. But I think that made the service a little slow.
