9/10It is the third time that I come, and it is always a nice experience. Especially the food is very good. All the different courses we had were very tasty. The only thing that I would like is the music, which seems a bit too high for a good conversation.

7/10A reasonably large resturant with a nice terrace we could not use because it was winter. The internal lighting is a bit dim for my taste, the overall room environment is nice but simple. The food was of good quality and the fish was prepared with an original recipe and very good. The price/quality ratio could be improved, may be you pay for the water-front position that we could not use.

7/10The food took almost 2h in arrive, 20 minutes for bring us the drinks and when arrived they weren't complete. We don't drink wine and they didn't took away the wine glasses, the table was all the time with the empty dishes, basically the worst service I ever had in my life, such a pity cause the food was good.

6.5/10Service and location are very good but the food is too expensive for what you get. If you pay 25€ for a rice with seafood you expect a noce presentation of your plate and more fresh taste, but no, it's just expensive but you would buy the same at Albert Heijn for 3€

9/10Callao never disappoints. Went for the 23 Eur Insider Menu and the food was delicious and cooked well. Service as always was friendly and prompt and the cocktails were good too. The Insider Menu was great value.

6.5/10We love peruvian food and especially the ceviche was delicious. Various tasty dishes, some of them too salty. It would be better if the food was served out at the same time for everyone. Nice menu!

9.5/10Fantastic food. Ceviche was good and fresh, and the main courses were brilliant! Even my picky boyfriend was raving about his dish from the first bite. Meat (Lomo Saltado) was cooked perfectly and the Arroz con Mariscos was delicious. Also worth a try or two is the Pisco Sour! We'll be back.

Peruvian chef Jaime Pesaque has spent many years as an apprentice in Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy and Spain, including El Celler de Can Roca. Back in Peru, he perfected a unique cuisine style at Al Grano, where he directed his first kitchen. In 2008, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a lot of culinary art, Pesaque began an adventure of its own and opened its flagship restaurant, Mayta, a refined dining room and award-winning Pisco bar in Peru. Pesaque combines contemporary culinary techniques with innovative local products and authentic spices that transform traditional dishes into sophisticated and tasty culinary creations.
