4/10Title: Ruined a Special Moment: A Legend on Autopilot Rating: 1/5 Text: "I am writing this with genuine sadness. I spent days hyping up Can Ramonet to my wife, insisting it was the only place for her first-ever Paella experience. Instead of a memory, I was left embarrassed. The Paella was a disaster—completely dehydrated and lifeless. The seafood was so overcooked and brittle that shells shattered into the rice with every bite, making it dangerous to chew (see photos). It felt like it had been sitting out for hours. When we complained, there was no explanation or apology. They just silently dropped off a bowl of mussels to "compensate," which were the opposite: undercooked and poor. It is heartbreaking to see a legend treating food as a mere transaction. You have forgotten that for visitors, this is an experience, not a chore. You ruined what was supposed to be a special culinary introduction for my wife."

Dear guest, First of all, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we are truly sorry to hear that your visit did not meet your expectations, especially considering it was meant to be such a special occasion. We would like to clarify that the mussels served with our paella are cooked in the oven as part of the preparation process, and during this process it is normal for the shells to crack. Nevertheless, we understand that this detail may be uncomfortable if it does not align with what the guest was expecting. At Can Ramonet, we have worked in the same way, faithful to our tradition, for many years, and our guests generally value both the quality of our food and the overall experience very positively. That said, we are aware that each guest arrives with different expectations, and unfortunately it is not always possible to meet them all. We are truly sorry that you left feeling disappointed. We will take your comments into careful consideration.

10/10The staff was so accommodating when we were early for our reservation and made our kids feel super comfortable. The Can Ramoulet paella was 10/10, oysters were super fresh, and the Galician octopus was unlike any other. Definitely recommend.

10/10I love this restaurant. We have been here three times we when started spending more time in Barcelona. The food is wonderful and fresh. The waiters are so charming. And the wine is absolutely wonderful. The interior of the restaurant is old school and romantic, while the outside is playful and inviting. Me encanta!
