9/10the service from start to finish was amazing. I honestly had encouter a lot of unfriendly service in Italy and this is one of the few places that made me few genuinely welcome! all the staff patiently expalined to me the menu item when asked and no one was annoyed with me it was just so nice. The food was pretty good I really enjoyed my pasta with shelled scallop! very fresh sseafood! and they gave me a little glass of limoncello after my meal it was the perfect end!

Dear Lady, we remember you, despite your attitude you were served with attention and you liked the food. You paid € 42,00 in the center of Venice for 1 grilled salmon, 1 aubergine parmigiana, 1 bottle of water. We don't have cover charge and service. You ordered by yourself and you were free to decide whether to stay or leave. We honestly find your review unfair.

2/10When our waiter came by (which took some time) we asked which items are gluten free. He said he'd come back. After a *long* wait he came back and said the salumi (cold cuts) were not because it had meat. We asked for someone who understood what gluten free meant, and after 15 minutes and no one came we gave up and left. If he not understanding of the menu had not explicitly said that they are accommodating of allergies and food sensitivity.

Dear Sirs, we know that the young waiter informed you about the gluten free dishes (the are many) but for some reasons you wanted the maitre as a waiter. 8.5/10Food is of a very high quality in a pleasant side alley very near to the Basilica. Service perhaps needs a bit more focus: We sat for more than half an hour waiting for our second dish, which they had forgotten.

10/10We wanted to try this restaurant based entirely on an episode of Samantha brown. But then I made the reservation and was astonished it took a party of 14. Then even more shocked it was 40 ft from our hotel. The staff was a bit slow to start but warmed up and was amazing. Our best meal of the trip. The spider crab, mussels, charcuterie and main courses of course - all were amazing. They were wonderful with our 5 kids. We closed the place down and will talk about it for years. Oh….and they did give my husband a giant wine glass to drink his red and he LOVED it.

10/10Very friendly welcome. Nicely decorated restaurant. Service is awesome. Food is out of this world. Pork shank is the best I've had. Lovely starters to share of selection of meats with fresh bread. Desserts professionally presented. Recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

9/10This restaurant was a great find - it was recommended from a gluten free blog and our family enjoyed our dinner and service so much we went back a second night.. Great wine selections. On our second night, we needed a break from the pasta and Italian food we centered our trip on, we really enjoyed the tomahawk steak and potatoes. We dined with 3 teens and 5 adults and all were happy with their meals. Would recommend.

10/10We loved this restaurant in Venice so much that we went twice! The food was amazing and the people who work there warm and friendly. The server even remembered our order and special requests from our first visit days earlier which was amazing considering the many tourists he must see!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

9/10Very happy to find this place! We found it at Tripsadvisor. One of us has celiac, that was no problem. Very good foof with and withpot gluten. We asked the Staff to find us a good whitewine, and they realy did! One of the best wines we had in Italy!

10/10This restaurant offered good quality dishes with a great selection of seafood, meat and pastas with plenty of gluten-free options. The service was excellent and the waiters could speak very good English. We are very fortunate to find such a great restaurant.

10/10Stopped in for dinner with our kids; what a great find! Food was excellent all the way around. Go for the tagliatelle al funghi and the sea bass pavé. After dinner drinks were great as well, and service was impeccable…friendly and inviting, attentive yet unobtrusive. A great spot away from the hordes of tourists on a quiet street.

10/10The food was the best we received. Luigi and the host were friendly and helpful. My food allergy was understood and accommodated. The area is off the beaten path, quiet, and worth the reasonable prices. We were not rushed and ate their twice during our visit!

10/10The pasta was some of the best I’ve ever had. The wine was also amazing, especially with the amount of choices available. Luigi was excellent the whole time. The entire staff was excellent. My wife wasn’t feeling well during the meal and still did her best to eat as much as possible because she loved it so much.

5/10First time was excellent so we returned. The second time, the main course of lobster was so poorly prepared and lacked any actual lobster that it was inedible. The restaurant had the grace to not charge me for food I didn’t eat, but lacked the courtesy to offer anything else. Really disappointing. We won’t be going back.

10/10We had a delicious dinner and had the best service by Robin & Ricky. We ordered the pomodoro pasta, tomahawk steak and grilled veggies. We also had a bottle of red wine that was recommended by our servers. It was a perfect compliment to our meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Daaaaamn this restaurant blew our socks off. Like I wanted to cry from joy because the food was THAT good. Service was excellent too. This was our best meal in Italy. I just spent 5 days in Rome before getting to Venezia and hadn’t had a meal this good until I got here. Try this place! You’ll really love it!

10/10The best food and service we have had in Venice! Delicious and extensive food options, with a clear focus on quality of the ingredients. Excellent service, but also comfortable. Our dog also felt very welcome and the owner was very friendly.

10/10Great friendly service - Gary was excellent. Party of 5 so we had the chance to eat most of the menu - cod taster, gnocchi, sea bass ravioli, melanzane alla parmigiana, salmon and several pizzas - all outstanding - and very good supertuscan antinori wine!

4.5/10Longer walk than expected, dark alleys and the pizza was something you could get in the US. The ham was slimy tasting and the mushrooms were ordinary. Would not suggest!
