Timing was off, but it didn’t seem to matter to the wait staff. My dining partners main course arrived before my starter. Staff didn’t understand the issue; response was that my food was coming. They also expected me to be sharing my starter after we already told them “no” when they asked at ordering. So it made less sense that her main course would come first if they expected the starter to be shared It’s not like they were busy, too busy to order things right. We were the only ones there

the service from start to finish was amazing. I honestly had encouter a lot of unfriendly service in Italy and this is one of the few places that made me few genuinely welcome! all the staff patiently expalined to me the menu item when asked and no one was annoyed with me it was just so nice. The food was pretty good I really enjoyed my pasta with shelled scallop! very fresh sseafood! and they gave me a little glass of limoncello after my meal it was the perfect end!

Dear Lady, we remember you, despite your attitude you were served with attention and you liked the food. You paid € 42,00 in the center of Venice for 1 grilled salmon, 1 aubergine parmigiana, 1 bottle of water. We don't have cover charge and service. You ordered by yourself and you were free to decide whether to stay or leave. We honestly find your review unfair.

When our waiter came by (which took some time) we asked which items are gluten free. He said he'd come back. After a *long* wait he came back and said the salumi (cold cuts) were not because it had meat. We asked for someone who understood what gluten free meant, and after 15 minutes and no one came we gave up and left. If he not understanding of the menu had not explicitly said that they are accommodating of allergies and food sensitivity.

Food is of a very high quality in a pleasant side alley very near to the Basilica. Service perhaps needs a bit more focus: We sat for more than half an hour waiting for our second dish, which they had forgotten.

We wanted to try this restaurant based entirely on an episode of Samantha brown. But then I made the reservation and was astonished it took a party of 14. Then even more shocked it was 40 ft from our hotel. The staff was a bit slow to start but warmed up and was amazing. Our best meal of the trip. The spider crab, mussels, charcuterie and main courses of course - all were amazing. They were wonderful with our 5 kids. We closed the place down and will talk about it for years. Oh….and they did give my husband a giant wine glass to drink his red and he LOVED it.

Very friendly welcome. Nicely decorated restaurant. Service is awesome. Food is out of this world. Pork shank is the best I've had. Lovely starters to share of selection of meats with fresh bread. Desserts professionally presented. Recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant was a great find - it was recommended from a gluten free blog and our family enjoyed our dinner and service so much we went back a second night.. Great wine selections. On our second night, we needed a break from the pasta and Italian food we centered our trip on, we really enjoyed the tomahawk steak and potatoes. We dined with 3 teens and 5 adults and all were happy with their meals. Would recommend.

We loved this restaurant in Venice so much that we went twice! The food was amazing and the people who work there warm and friendly. The server even remembered our order and special requests from our first visit days earlier which was amazing considering the many tourists he must see!!! Highly recommend this restaurant!
