7.5/10The apetiter was perfect, fish was average and meat was disaster - cold, not soft and well done … Choice of local wines by glass was nice.

6/10The food was not prepared to the quality expected of a Michelin-listed restauarant. We had the Tasting menu. No menu card at seating so we were surprised with each dish. Food flavor pairings within each dish were generally odd. As a whole, the tasting menu featured way too much 'gelatinous'-consistency foods. We were unable to finish most dishes due to taste and consistency; worst part was - nobody from management nor the kitchen stopped by to ask why we were returning our plates barely eaten, desipite telling the server what was happening. Management did not offer any consideration on the bill, nor condolences for a bad experience.

10/10Tucked away in the Gothic Quarter, Capet offers a refined take on Catalan cuisine with French influences. Chef Armando Álvarez’s seasonal dishes are praised for their perfect execution and simplicity. The open kitchen adds to the experience, while the curated wine list complements each dish beautifully. A must-visit for an exceptional dining experience!

8/10We have visited Capet for years now and the food was always really really good and still it. But the service was very poor last night. The main course was served when my husband was still finishing his first course. The food was cold and we had to send it back to the kitchen. The waitress didn't even excuse. Unfortunately, the restaurant is far too expensive for this poor service. We hope they'll get better again but won't give it another try again soon.

6/10My husband and I had dinner at your restaurant on February 14th, having made a reservation in advance. We were the third couple seated, though at the bar table, which wasn't ideal. My husband's dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and flavorful. However, my rice with baby squid arrived burnt. The server acknowledged the problem, noting the largely untouched portion, but did not offer a replacement or any compensation. This unfortunately detracted from what could have been a pleasant evening.

7.5/10We were sat in a very small room completely excluded from the rest of the restaurant, which was a bit boring as we couldn't see the kitchen or the rest of the restaurant. The food was ok, but not so special.

10/10We tasted the chef’s talent in culinary arts and his team’s seamless collaboration in every bite and every course. We were blown away by how simple everyday ingredients could be turned into amazing dishes. Capet is definitely a keeper for our future visit.

6/10Service started well but then the waitress was trying to serve our next meal before we finished the previous one. Then she got angry. Starters were no different to local tapas. Main meals were far better but due to their portion size we had no room for dessert. Wine list by the glass was well below average. Expect better from a Michelin star restaurant.

10/10+2We had a delightful lunch at Capet. The food and presentation were outstanding. Our server recommended different wines by the glass for our courses. All were tasty and well priced. Desserts were beautiful to the eyes and the tastebuds. Highly recommend this cozy, pleasant restaurant.

4/10Food was bad and everything was cold, even for dishes that should have been served in hot, e.g. fish filet and veal. Fish filet was uncooked too.

7.5/10+2Excellent food, surprising flavors and very tasty. We found the service speed a bit too fast. 6 dishes and coffee in 1:15 is like giving the impression they wanted us to leave quicky. A large group also entered and made a lot of noice. Its very nice food yet not a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

8/10Capet is an excellent resto/bistro in central Barcelona. The food very well crafted and served. The wine list should satisfy everyone. The ambiance is cosy and the room(s) well used. There is a design to the place too.

5.5/10We were initially seated in a separate room with no windows despite several nicer tables being available in the main dining room. Lobster dish was not great- the sauce did not go well with it. Uni was deceptive as it was just sauce and not real uni.

10/10Run, don't walk. I was a solo guest and chef created a menu for me that was spectacular. A half portion of ajoblanco soup with razor clam and a hint of pralines; a half portion of fig salad with anchovies, homemade ricotta, sprinkled with pine nuts; pigeon with a sauce of its foie and also gravy reduction (hope I am doing this justice); and finally something they called passion fruit cream with a scoop of yogurt ice cream. If they were open on Sunday, I would be back to try more things. Chef started me with a tomato salad and suggested a wonderful bottle of wine. Welcoming and wonderful from start to finish.
