Atmosphere and wine

Delicious food and great flavours. The only downside was the service — it was a bit too quick, with no small pause between courses. It felt like an in-and-out experience, a little rushed.

I had a great time at the restaurant! I seated at a counter, where I could see the kitchen. The chefs were really working so hard to make dishes. I respected them! The waitresses were so kind. I forgot how much I spent time there, which was absolutely good sign!

This restaurant gave us one of the best experiences in Barcelona, the food was very delicious, beautifully plated, but the service was the best that we had in Barcelona. We had a worm welcome and politeness-from our .arrival- getting in with a wheelchair, folding it, we were seated comfortably ,and got the kind attention of the staff,. The wines were a good choice too,

+4The use of seasonal vegetables in every dish makes this a thoughtful and imaginative restaurant. It’s easy to get the meat produce in other parts of the world through freezing and shipping. But the truly fresh vegetables have to be harvested and cooked immediately. Capet does this so well and blend the different vegetables with the seafood and meat produce carefully. The service is impeccable and warm. I enjoyed the welcome and the care throughout the meal.

This Michelin listed restaurant in the Old City of Barcelona is a true hidden gem. My daughter discovered it last year and loved it. So did we. The simple setting on a narrow historic street belies the amazing food inside. The open kitchen added to the experience. Creativity and fresh local ingredients combine for one of our most memorable dinners in the world. And they were very willing to reduce the salt for us old people. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. Pricing felt fair to this Boston couple. It did certainly cater to Americans in music and theme which was unfortunate. For tourists it has no "big view ". Otherwise every bite was a delight. Highly recommended.

We sat at the bar and were able to watch the kitchen and ever interact with the chef as we were the first seating. Fascinating to watch the dishes being prepared! All the food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The dishes were amazing, the taste wonderful, creative composition and aesthetic presentation! Loved it. The choice of wines is okay, not top. The service, btw, was friendly but hasty, not very attentive.

The food was amazing! The staff was so great and the chef even accommodated to serve my seven year old a more kid friendly dinner. Truly amazing!

The food was not prepared to the quality expected of a Michelin-listed restauarant. We had the Tasting menu. No menu card at seating so we were surprised with each dish. Food flavor pairings within each dish were generally odd. As a whole, the tasting menu featured way too much 'gelatinous'-consistency foods. We were unable to finish most dishes due to taste and consistency; worst part was - nobody from management nor the kitchen stopped by to ask why we were returning our plates barely eaten, desipite telling the server what was happening. Management did not offer any consideration on the bill, nor condolences for a bad experience.

We have visited Capet for years now and the food was always really really good and still it. But the service was very poor last night. The main course was served when my husband was still finishing his first course. The food was cold and we had to send it back to the kitchen. The waitress didn't even excuse. Unfortunately, the restaurant is far too expensive for this poor service. We hope they'll get better again but won't give it another try again soon.

My husband and I had dinner at your restaurant on February 14th, having made a reservation in advance. We were the third couple seated, though at the bar table, which wasn't ideal. My husband's dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and flavorful. However, my rice with baby squid arrived burnt. The server acknowledged the problem, noting the largely untouched portion, but did not offer a replacement or any compensation. This unfortunately detracted from what could have been a pleasant evening.

We were sat in a very small room completely excluded from the rest of the restaurant, which was a bit boring as we couldn't see the kitchen or the rest of the restaurant. The food was ok, but not so special.

We tasted the chef’s talent in culinary arts and his team’s seamless collaboration in every bite and every course. We were blown away by how simple everyday ingredients could be turned into amazing dishes. Capet is definitely a keeper for our future visit.

Service started well but then the waitress was trying to serve our next meal before we finished the previous one. Then she got angry. Starters were no different to local tapas. Main meals were far better but due to their portion size we had no room for dessert. Wine list by the glass was well below average. Expect better from a Michelin star restaurant.

+2We had a delightful lunch at Capet. The food and presentation were outstanding. Our server recommended different wines by the glass for our courses. All were tasty and well priced. Desserts were beautiful to the eyes and the tastebuds. Highly recommend this cozy, pleasant restaurant.

Food was bad and everything was cold, even for dishes that should have been served in hot, e.g. fish filet and veal. Fish filet was uncooked too.

Went in with high expectations, but ended up disappointed. Not up to the standards we expect from Michelin recommended. The dessert and friendly staff made up for something.

+2Excellent food, surprising flavors and very tasty. We found the service speed a bit too fast. 6 dishes and coffee in 1:15 is like giving the impression they wanted us to leave quicky. A large group also entered and made a lot of noice. Its very nice food yet not a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

We ordered the tasting menu. Every course exceptional, Worthy of its Michelin stars. The service was on point. No detail was missed.
