It was OK but nothing mind blowing. The pork cheeks were salty but those truffled potatoes were amazing. The cod was great. The sardine bruschetta was cold and gave a “someone just plopped me out of a tin” vibe and the prawns were more heads (whose size didn’t necessarily match the tails) than meat but the wine was great.

Pre-booked for new years day. Attended restaurant the day before to check location and ensure we knew we would arrive on time and also to check on booking and menu. Had confirmation that regular menu was in operation. Arrived early on new years day and had wine (as arrived early) before taking seats to dine. Ontaking seats we were presented with revised menu. As I have lots of food intolerance, my only option was a burger.....at cost of 21 euros!!!!!! For new years day???? After some discussion my husband and I decided this was not acceptable....his chosen dish had also been removed from the revised menu. Staff were very understanding, polite, and professional...... however shouldn't they have known this the day before?????? When we attended in person to check I everything associated with the booking. Restaurant looked amazing......even though up several steep hills, which we climbed twice!!! And still didn't get to eat to taste the food there! Ambience was amazing......just bad coms!

The food was terrible and very expensive. The main course was horrible (bacalao), almost no fish only mashed potato with few green leaves as a salad. And they charged €70 for each person. We felt robbed.

Beautiful view from windows. Welcoming atmosphere. Stunning interior. Food was good extremely well presented. Glad they could fit me in at Christmas - so glad I went there. Only issue was handle feel off toilet door and I could not get out

This was our first disappointing meal thus far in Lisbon. The room smelled of a WC, making it quite difficult to focus on the food. The soup was runny, and the rice too salty. The pasta was okay.

Very nice restaurant near the Carmo neighborhood. Close to Santa Justa Lift and The Museu Arqueológico Do Carmo. Food was good however wish the portions were larger. Restaurant was clean, quiet, and upscale. Make sure to check the bill as they charged us for the Couvert when we refused it and forgot to apply the discount, however the head waitress fixed this without issue once we pointed it out.

Carmo is a cute restaurant with good food and I thought the prices were quite fair. It was not very busy on a Tuesday night at 8:30 pm but the food and service were very good. We had the pork ribs with barbecue sauce and fries and also the chicken breast with sausage rice and a side salad. Everything was delicious. Not huge portions but definitely enough to fill us up. Like I said, it was kind of dead inside so the vibe was pretty quiet but the food & service were good.

At Carmo, we had a very romantic table by the window. I really loved the way the table was set by the window facing outside! Food was amazing and so was the service. We got some tasty vegetarian options. I highly recommend Carmo.

The dining area outside included live music. The wait staff was relatively attentive and the food was good. My chicken Caesar was good and my partner enjoyed the Portuguese beef. It was a very pleasant meal in a lively outdoor setting.

Expensive for what you get. 18€ for a dish of rice that literally was meant for Tom Thumb, unbelievable, it was not even good. Food in general was average and the service, even tho they were nice, the service was so slow. I had to ask several times for drinks that were taking forever to arrive. There’s worst places of course, but I wouldn’t repeat this one

The food was quite good and the service was attentive and caring. We had salads, entrees and dessert and each course was wonderful! I really got the sense they truly cared about our experience. Our server, although very new, really enhanced our experience!

I had a lovely dinner at Carmo. I got the tuna steak, which was a large serving and very tasty. It was cooked just right (I hate when fish gets overcooked) and the vegtables that came with it were great. I made the reservation on TheFork and said I had a reservation when I arrived, but they didn't seem to check the reservation and there was a bit of confusion about being seated. Luckily, it wasn't that busy so I was seated after a short wait.
