6/10Expensive for what you get. 18€ for a dish of rice that literally was meant for Tom Thumb, unbelievable, it was not even good. Food in general was average and the service, even tho they were nice, the service was so slow. I had to ask several times for drinks that were taking forever to arrive. There’s worst places of course, but I wouldn’t repeat this one

9.5/10The food was quite good and the service was attentive and caring. We had salads, entrees and dessert and each course was wonderful! I really got the sense they truly cared about our experience. Our server, although very new, really enhanced our experience!

9.5/10I had a lovely dinner at Carmo. I got the tuna steak, which was a large serving and very tasty. It was cooked just right (I hate when fish gets overcooked) and the vegtables that came with it were great. I made the reservation on TheFork and said I had a reservation when I arrived, but they didn't seem to check the reservation and there was a bit of confusion about being seated. Luckily, it wasn't that busy so I was seated after a short wait.

9.5/10Very nice restaurant with a good quality food and wines. At a certain time it was cold and we thought that the air conditioner was on. It turned out that they have left the restaurant door open! It was cold and windy outside.

5/10I've eaten at Carmo on every trip to Lisbon. My first bad experience. Water served without asking and charged to my bill (I didn't touch it). Alvocado appetizer was mostly humus and served with chips not pita. Waiter tried to push a third glass of wine I didn't ask for, Waiter asked for a tip on top of what was included. Used to serve tapas. No longer. Used to have a good wine list. No longer. Won't return. 5/10 is too high for my experience. More like 2/10.

7/10Beautiful restaurant that I knew for years. Used to be full of life and customers. Excellent food, great choice of wines.... I got highly disappointed. Place is as nice as it was but..... Empty. And I no wonder why. Except shrimps as the starter, the rest was a disappointment. We asked for sardines and they were from the package. Sorry, that I can do for 2 euro at home.... Something called " avocado hummus" which was simply guacamole 🥑. Octopus and codfish ... Could be nice if it was served warm. The mafia course was luke warm... What a disappointment. At least the wine was ok, but the waters were not trained enough to speak neither about the food, nor the wines. Again, what a pity....
