10/10Apart from their house speciality snails, there are dishes like blood sausage, pork trotters, chickpea stew which were all delicious. We wish we known about this place earlier. Muchas gracias to the chefs and the service team for looking after us.

Snails and oxtails were amazing. also liked the lamb and gazpacho soup. Skip the cod. The Restaurant is in the basement so don't be dismayed when you only see bar seats upstairs

+1I had high hopes for this restaurant after seeing its traditional tapas menu, and I was excited to try some of the more unique options such as snails, tripe, and oxtail. While the variety was impressive, I was a bit let down by the temperature of the dishes — everything was served just warm, rather than hot, which took away from the overall enjoyment. The fried dishes were also a bit underwhelming. I tried the fried cod and squid, but both were coated in a thick batter that lacked flavour and felt too heavy. I was expecting something crispier and more delicate in taste. That said, the service was polite and the setting was pleasant. With some improvements in how the food is prepared and presented, this place could definitely stand out more. Worth a visit if you’re curious about traditional tapas, but I hope they refine a few things.

8/10The food was good and plentiful. We had several tapas and ordered too much so I was able to have the rest of the tortilla for breakfast next day as they were kind enough to give me a takeaway box.

The snails were addictive and the vermouth was really good . We also had the Terrenzos and Pimentos . We tried the Oreja which was super tasty .

10/10Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambience 10/10 cheap, delicious spanish food and there‘s usually a server who speaks english. Best olives ever served with food. We will definitely come here anytime we‘re in Madrid! Im 100% sure you‘re not going to regret coming here.

8.5/10We enjoyed a lunch there. The crowd is local, the nice owner goes between the tables and chats with the customers. The Caracoles were surprisingly good. We can also recommend the ox tail and the blood sausage.

7.5/10Much of the food is amazing, for that type of food -- that is, caracoles, zarajo, morcilla, etc; if you are not up for this type of food, this is not your place. But you will be hard place to find tastier caracoles (or anything) in Madrid. First time I order dessert here, maybe that was a mistake. We sat downstairs in the restaurant seating area, and the service was intermitent and failed to really properly clear and clean the table. But it was friendly and cheery, and as we came back up the bartender was as usual super friendly and interested in our opinions. I have been here many times and look forward to keep coming

5/10After hearing good reviews, our expectations were high. So we went thinking it was going to be a great experience. It was highly disappointing in terms of the quality of the dishes, as well as the overall ambience. The dining room for seated dining is in the basement, in a very crowded area with zero atmosphere, that feels like you're in a basement. The tables jammed together way too close, not comfortable, etc. And then the food came... dishes we had read about that were great (the snails, the calimari) and they weren't good at all. The only good thing was our server was very nice and attentive, so nothing negative there. Not sure what all the hype on this place is, but we don't be going back. Too many other amazing restaurants in Madrid. Please do not share this feedback publicly... this is for The Fork to know yourselves.

+1I made reservation but when I get to there it was suppoppper packed so I couldn’t make to the seating area instead squeezed into bar and stand at bar to eat. The scargo is good, on salty side so I ate lots of bread which I normally don’t. The lamb tastes so good so I ordered twice. I also ordered the tripe it’s alright because it does has the smelly taste. The fried gamba( shrimp) comes as expected. Just so many people which I didn’t expected. Within 10 euro for half size tappas. Only downside is I only speak English and don’t speak Spanish so no waiters are attending me on the restaurant side so it’s a bit awkward. I have to make another way to go to the bar side and wave and jump to get attention to be served.

5.5/10The staff are welcoming but the food was a disappointment - ordered caracoles (snails) and crayfish. It looks appetising but taste is quite bland. Caracoles is meaty but lacks flavour. Crayfish is as per online pictures but the meat is not firm and has alittle smell for 2 of them. Ambience is ok, if you made reservations they put you at the back of the restaurant, good if you want some privacy. If you want to enjoy the ambience of the restaurant, seems better to go without reservation and get a seat at the bar.

The place was crowded and we realize why. The food was so good and at reasonable prices. It was a first for us, elbowing our way to the bar to order food and eat standing up, but that was all part of the fun.

4/10We reserved a table for 8 people at 8 PM. We arrived about 10 minutes too early and instead of telling us to wait a little, they led us into the next door room, which was an empty bar and there were no places to sit. We had to stand the entire time although right below us was a dining zone with proper tables and seats but they didn't let us enter that zone for whatever reason. Now to the service, the waiters were nice but because of the amount of guests, the orders kept getting mixed up and some things we ordered didn't even get served. We also had a feeling that because we had to stay in that "isolated" bar, the waiters paid less attention to us which led to longer waiting time, which means we had to stand there for a pretty long time. The food was decent but the experience was really disappointing compared to what we've heard from this restaurant.

10/10A definite must if you are visiting Madrid! We came for the snails and they did not disappoint. We ordered the blood pudding ,tripe stew, and cheese. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was outstanding.

9.5/10The food portion for smaller plates are really generous! They are all very delicious! The waitresses were friendly and served food quite fast. The seating are a bit crowded, but it’s no bother because that’s partly why you are here in Spain :)

9/10the service is fantastic, super attentive and gentle the price is quite fair, we were 8.6euros per person the food was nice, gambas with alioli was a nice combination and sauce of caragoles is delicious. for drink he recommend us tinto of veran with tasted like sangria, does not taste alcohol and i love it

9.5/10Upon seeing this restaurant on Bizarre Foods we just had to try their snails. It was a delicious meal and a fast service. Recommended if you want to get out of your comfort zone and try something different.
