A lovely meal fully of tasty dishes from light salad through to beatiful ragu pasta washed down with an excellent local wine and finished with a sweet and unusual flower pot tiramisu.

Casa Ciabattini gets everything just right -- from the warm greeting, friendly service, mercifully brief but still diverse and enticing menu to the excellent wine list and great options by the glass to the fresh, delicious, innovative food beautifully presented. From start to finish, this was an outstanding dining experience. Don't miss it!

The menu was short but for a good reason. The food was incredible and the staff were also really friendly and professional. 10/10 experience, a must !

Incredible. All four guests loved their meals.

Staff treated us as if we were a nuisance and the food was average at best.

Extremely capable and efficient team of staff. Enjoyable to see the chef preparing the dishes in open kitchen just like a performance. Knows clearly our need such as bringing the share plate with the dishes after we told the waitress at ordering. No reminder necessary and it is very impressive especially in their busy kitchen. Meatballs tasting top-notch. Highly recommended!

Seasonal dishes prepared in a way that allows the ingredients to shine - this is traditional favourite fare with some novel flavour additions. Chicken liver terrine with hazelnuts, toasted brioche and vin santo drizzle; whipped salt cod with chickpea compote and herbed cracker; potato gnocchi in a Gorgonzola cream with walnuts and diced pear; beef meatballs delicately spiced with fennel seed in a rich tomato sugo. Our party of two was so full after four dishes we missed out on dolci - a star attraction of this restaurant. We visited in late January and it had a cozy neighbourhood vibe. Service was attentive, professional and discrete. This has shot to the top of our “must visit” list of restaurants in Florence.

Our second time back to this restaurant. The first time they sat us with nearly all tourists in the front room and gave us English only menus (we speak Italian) but this time they sat us in a back room with only Italian guests. Much nicer. Food again was exceptional. The young chef’s cooking at this restaurant are top tier chefs. This place is one of the best restaurants we tried in Florence and we were here for 3 weeks.

We were very skeptical when we walked into as the 6 other diners in the restaurant were speaking English and the staff gave us English menus after I spoke to him in Italian. So it was a very pleasant surprise that the food was outstanding, some of the best we had in Firenze. We had gnudi, the peposo, and an escarole salad. Everything was superb. The dessert was even better. It was called Mont Blanc with persimmons cream. If they have it, go for it!

This is my second trip to Florence and this is a restaurant I keep coming back to. It is simply delicious. Everything you pick, is as they say here, simple ingredients put together, but cooked with people’s love and passion and the rightful amount of herbs. A MUST!

Really the best restaurant we tried in Florence and we visited a lot. Definitely not a tourist trap or anything of that sort. High quality and authentic, plus visited by many local people.

We had an incredible dinner at Cas Ciabattini last night! Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was equally impressive: warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing evening out. Our family (including two younger kids) loved the experience and felt completely welcomed by the friendly staff. This was easily one of our favorite meals during our time in Florence. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food and a charming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The host at the bar was friendly and made us feel welcomed. We traveled a long distance (from the US) and his welcome was reassuring. The ambience, beautifully decorated restaurant, was outstanding.

Pretty average food. Nothing special

Loved every dish here! Must get: cherry tomato burrata pasta, ragu pasta, panna cotta, and tiramisu. The pastas were comforting and delicious, like something an Italian nonna would lovingly make at home. A cozy, unpretentious spot worth visiting in Florence for sure!

Very nice modern Italian open style, almost perfect service. Very knowledgeble wine serving. Interesting open kitchen. Special variants of traditional Italian dishes. To be highly recommended
