We had an absolutely spectacular dinner here from start to finish. Not only was the service warm and professional, but the food was the best we had in Madrid. It was inventive, fresh and modern, while also being distinctly Spanish: Iberico pork with migas; a stew of white beans, clams, and fried artichoke; grilled tuna with caramelized onions and sweet potato; grilled octopus…every single dish was creative and wildly delicious. We weren’t going to order dessert, but wow, were we glad we did. It was a tie between all three: the cheesecake, the “bread and chocolate,” and the flan. A truly superb kitchen. Excellent wine list too. The vibe was great: simple, chic, festive. Five stars. We will be back.

10/10The restaurant is beautiful inside and the waiting staff are so helpful and friendly. The staff are well trained and can advise on any dish. There is a wine waiter too who, although we didn’t partake, seemed to recommend good wine choices for the tables around us. We selected Oxtail and Beef Loin. As an amuse bouche we were given a gazpacho. Unlike the traditional dish, this was made with beetroot, cucumber and tomato and was sublime. With the main course be warned, no small portions here! The oxtail was brought to the table and then boned expertly by our lovely waiter. The meat pulled and beautifully served. Everything was delicious and the staff keep an eye for empty bottles, glasses etc. We were full after our mains but knew we couldn’t leave without a dessert. We both chose the French Toast which was caramelised and can with an apple compote and biscuit ice cream. Wow it did not disappoint. We enjoyed every mouthful.

8.5/10We went for dinner , it is closecto Thyssen museum, and we had good sea food, fresh and simply cooked. Diego. our waiter, helped us to understand dishes receipts and his suggestions were much appreciated . Service good. We suggest Casa Mortero warmly

The food is terrible. It's very salty and chewy. This is an Asian racist restaurant. Racism is stupid. The staff is also very unfriendly.

Our team is multicultural, and our guests come from all over the world. In fact, more than 50% of our clientele is international, and over the past five years, we have never encountered a situation like this. Inclusion, respect, and hospitality have always been at the heart of what we do, and we take great pride in being a welcoming place for everyone, regardless of their background. 5/10This is my opinion and the way I perceive my experience. The bread we were given to start with was warmed up dry bread. We were given the oil after we got the bread, so we hadn't eaten more than half of the bread. We were given no instructions regarding the accompaniments for our food and we were only told about the food for one course. We didn't know what we were being served, we had to guess. This was not our best experience

9.5/10Potato salad with red tuna was divine. The duck rice excellent and the meatballs were delicious. The cheesecake was delicate and rich with a delicious crumble crust. Coffee and wines were as expected. Bread is overpriced but good - just not worth the price. We did enjoy this overall and it is well worth a visit.

7.5/10Nice spanish based dishes with a modern touch in a avantgarde ambiente. Plates served of hetergenous product quality. eg excellent oxtail with multiple smashed creamy papatoes. The flank steak was quite in a rural style with too much of an ion taste from the grill and definitly too much of fleurs de sel and not of the highest quality. Missing a sommellier . The wine recommendation from the common staff did not really match that great with the food. I am not sure if this restaurant deserves a recommendation in the guide michelin…

7/10The food started well with delicious bread and oil. The starters were interesting in a good way, pork belly and tuna. The main course was the let down. One of the meatballs was raw and the flank steak very tough. Couldn’t fault the service and we did get money off the bill for main courses and an apology.
