9.5/10Very good, very interesting and flavorful food. The chef creates all the recipes and the menu changes daily. The chocolate dessert is amazing!! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant!

10/10I am not often left speechless but tonight, I was… in a positive way. I have been reading the reviews for a few months before I decided to book a spot, and I’m glad I finally did. The space is small with only about ten tables. It’s also very hidden with no signs around. The food.. insane awesome flavors that mix east, west, modern and traditional in ways that I can’t describe plainly as a trained chef! Badr is nuts, in a good way. Don’t expect, as he says, “Disney Mc Donald food”.. it’s a menu that changes everyday and I ended up with Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of catania cooked by a Moroccan. It doesn’t makes sense but it tasted amazing, no different from my memories of eating in a sidewalk of Saigon. I’m coming back as soon as I can for the “normal” menu.. after weeks of pasta/pizza/fried food, maybe I’m biased but I the quality & depth of ingredients, the research and the sheer humanity of the experience is worth it.. I can’t explain it, but you should try it.

10/10We loved the food and experience at Casbah del Moro! The owner is very warm and personable, taking the time to talk to each customer explaining the menu. The flavors were amazing! You need to go to this restaurant! You won't be disappointed.

7.5/10lets start: I reserved over 1 week in advance and we got a tiny table for 4 next to the entrance. The owner and the service were nice, profesional and very helpful. From the very beginning the owner said that the food is not typiclly marrocan and it wasnt. a very small selection. the food was served "warm" not hot and wasnt rich at all. nothing to do with the tastefull rich blends which one would get in marroco. the portions are not very big. all in all too expensiive for what it offers. it is a ok change from the typically italian kitchen one gets everywhere in Catania but nothing to brag. the higher score is solely based and the nice and attentive service, which is rare in Catania not on the food. after the high reviews I expected a lot more. so we spend an overpriced nice evening with great friends with mediocre food.
