10/10Food was amazing, very delicious and fairly priced. The blackberry mojito is an absolute must try, never tried anything similar before. We had volcano rice which was really good, again it was something that we hadn't tried before. In the visit we also tried the scallops, which again was amazing and full of flavour. Service was great here too, very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere for a romantic meal. We also received a free shot of liqueur on the house, and they kindly accommodated my partner who doesn't drink alcohol with a nice juice instead. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona, great food and at a reasonable price too.

10/10Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. Luis (not sure if spelling is correct) helped make my birthday unforgettable. Highly highly recommend Cera 23!

8/10+2We had a 7pm reservation which is the same time the restaurant opened. Our walk from the hotel incurred passing by locals and graffiti marked buildings on some dark streets. A little wooden cube on the table has wifi and menu to scan. The food was good although we didn’t know what each dish was when it was brought to the table and had to ask. We had baby scallops with traveler’s stew. It was presented nicely in their shell with a red sauce which had something crunchy in it. We don’t know what the sauce was made of or the crunchy bits as it wasn’t in the description and the server was too busy to flag down to tell us. The Iberian ribs with raw watercress and sour apples were meaty and delicious. The seabass, Argentinean beef and cheesecake were also a hit. The local custom is they don’t tip in Barcelona and I was surprised a different server brought the bill and asked for a tip. He assumed we’re tourist (which we are) and are probably accustomed to tipping, we gave a tip. It was odd.

10/10The last time that I was at Cera 23 was 8 years ago. The food and service was excellent then as it was last night. The Iberian ribs are to die for! Just wonderful all around.

10/10What a terrific place! The service was excellent and the food spectacular. Everything was tasty - from the blackberry mojitos (a work of art) to the desserts. My personal favourites were the tomato carpaccio and the scallops. We shared several starters and ordered different main dishes. Without exception, they were fantastic. No doubt we will be back to try more. Thank you Chef and thank you to the excellent servers. A great evening!

10/10Blackberry mojito is a must! Thank you for an absolutely delicious meal. I had seabass in thai sauce and my partner had lamb shank. Both were fantastic! Will definitely return when in Barcelona!

10/10If I could give 10 stars I would! Found this place on the last day of our trip and booked for birthday and anniversary dinner. The restaurant is down a short alley and looks like something out of a storybook. Charming, cozy, perfect ambiente! We were the first table of the evening. We told our server about the birthday and anniversary. Our server made a video of the entire dinner from the food prep to the celebratory dessert at the end of dinner. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant is cozy and small but never felt stuffy or overcrowded. HIGHLY recommend!

4.5/10This restaurant was a disappointment given its 4.7 rating. After over 1 hour wait, grilled octopus was cold and bland, seabass with prawn was also cold and parts were raw, cube beef dish was medium rare instead of medium, torrija shell/dough was undercooked. Waiter was nice, but never once asked if we liked the food... he probably knew it was not good!
