Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. Luis (not sure if spelling is correct) helped make my birthday unforgettable. Highly highly recommend Cera 23!

We had a 7pm reservation which is the same time the restaurant opened. Our walk from the hotel incurred passing by locals and graffiti marked buildings on some dark streets. A little wooden cube on the table has wifi and menu to scan. The food was good although we didn’t know what each dish was when it was brought to the table and had to ask. We had baby scallops with traveler’s stew. It was presented nicely in their shell with a red sauce which had something crunchy in it. We don’t know what the sauce was made of or the crunchy bits as it wasn’t in the description and the server was too busy to flag down to tell us. The Iberian ribs with raw watercress and sour apples were meaty and delicious. The seabass, Argentinean beef and cheesecake were also a hit. The local custom is they don’t tip in Barcelona and I was surprised a different server brought the bill and asked for a tip. He assumed we’re tourist (which we are) and are probably accustomed to tipping, we gave a tip. It was odd.

Wow what a great find this was. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Being from California we are pretty fussy when it comes to food but this restaurant had it all. Thank you.

The last time that I was at Cera 23 was 8 years ago. The food and service was excellent then as it was last night. The Iberian ribs are to die for! Just wonderful all around.
