The food was nice and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. The service really stood out — attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the visit. Inside, the atmosphere was pleasant and well designed, making it a comfortable place to dine. The surrounding neighborhood, however, wasn’t especially appealing and slightly took away from the overall experience.

The food and drinks were excellent. The Back to Galicia drink with gin was amazing, between the four of us we ordered three. We had the pork ribs, the volcano rice, the grilled octopus and the eggplant all were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The best meal we’ve had in Barcelona. I highly recommend the eggplant appetizer and the Black Volcano rice. And the cheesecake with crumbled. Superb!

This is our favourite restaurant when we visit Barcelona every year. We usually eat there twice! The menu is so varied, and the food so delicious. The costillar iberico and the volcan d’arroz are particularly recommended. It is the highlight of our stay here on our way home from a long holiday in Spain. The staff recognize us even though they only see us once a year, with warm greetings and hugs, lovely people.

Nadia was an excellent host, bartender and server! She was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The food was amazing! Our second time here for dinner from the US. They had some of the same dishes and new ones. We highly recommend the ceviche, eggplant and Iberian ribs.

Please don’t be tricked with the good reviews. This place serves barely eatable, greasy and over salty (to hide not fresh ingredients) food with a lot of different kinds of mayonnaise (again, to hide bad ingredients). The best thing you can do for your liver and stomach is to avoid this place which is also located in specific area you don’t want to go as a tourist.
