6.5/10A general lack of flavour and a very average meal compared to other establishments we have eaten at in Portugal. Given the status of this restaurant we were excepting something considerably better.

7.5/10first they slapped me with someone else's bill 3 times mine, than they printed out mine, but accounted for no TheFork discount... my dish was also way too plain for its price.

7/10Our service and the ambiance was top notch. The food as not. To start, We had lamb chops, they were stringy, full of fat and totally unbeatable. The mint sauce that I was served was mostly vinegar, it was horrible, my companion had a port sauce on his lamb and it was even worst. The mash potatoes were also terrible. The restaurant did the right thing and didn’t charge us but this chef should be terminated. This is a very high end restaurant. And the service was impeccable. This should never happen in this kind of establishment.

7.5/10Due to the renovation, the restaurant moved to the lobby, behind the lobby bar. Because of this it was a bit dark and the live music was way too loud for diners. It would have been much better if the restaurant was moved to a mezzanine level or serve the food at the lobby bar.

9.5/10The food and ambience were very nice. We booked a last minute reservation and were very happy with the table location. The menu had several options making it hard to not eat too much. We enjoyed the bread plate, creamy sheep cheese, lamb chops, and grouper masadda, finalized by the 70% Chocolate Mousse. Everything, even dessert, was washed down with a bottle of red. The quality, ambiance, and cost all met my expectations of a 9.5 on The Fork. The service was just ok. My wife and I both felt rushed to the point where I requested time to enjoy the atmosphere and food between courses. I am not a fan of restaurants who cannot manage an appropriate amount of time between courses, and pull unfinished food off the table to rush in the next item. Once we asked them to slow down everything was OK.

6.5/10Disappointing Experience at Cervejaria Liberdade I had dined at Cervejaria Liberdade about a year ago and was thoroughly impressed, so I was looking forward to another excellent meal. The restaurant itself remains a lovely and cozy spot, and the service was exceptional—staff were professional, attentive, and warm, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the food this time was underwhelming. While the presentation was still on point, the flavors fell flat. The dishes were bland and lacked seasoning, which was disappointing given the restaurant's reputation and price point. It simply did not meet the high standard expected from a place of this caliber. Additionally, I had mentioned that we were celebrating two birthdays, but this detail was entirely overlooked—even when serving desserts. A small gesture would have gone a long way, especially considering the level of service and pricing. Overall, while the ambiance and service were great, the quality of the food was a letdown.

8.5/10Very attractive restaurant but was disappointed with sole meunière as it was somewhat dry/overcooked. Also previously had onion soup there and this time it was not served hot probably should have sent it back

Food was tasty and the staff was lovely. We explicitly asked not to be served cilantro (coriander) because it has a strong taste that ruins our food and they brought us food with the plant that resembles coriander. We asked why and they said that it's very similar but not the same thing as coriander. We couldn't really understand their thinking. Why would you bring us something that tastes the same as coriander? We didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable so we paid for the food we didn't like.

Food is amazing and so fresh! The grilled fish and octopus were both cooked to the perfect status. Tender and juicy. The dessert portion is giant, perfect for sweet tooth people like me! Most importantly, Dino’s service is so considerate: he doesn’t give you any extra pressure and he will always be there when you have questions. He is the exact person you need in a fancy restaurant that can make you to relax and enjoy the meal in a cosy way!
