10/10Both the food, service, location and setting are exceptional. The staff is unbelievably friendly and charismatic and it’s a beautiful restaurant that serves classic (mainly Portoguese) dishes of the highest quality.

10/10The seafood platter was very fresh. The seabass was delicious and has very light taste. Overall the meal was very good except for dessert was a bit too sweet.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cervejaria Liberdade! From the flaming cocktail to start us off, to the seafood platter and octopus rice, to the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream, everything was fresh and delicious. The service was truly excellent as well. It was a bit more than we are in the habit of paying at restaurants in Portugal, but that's to be expected for the location and quality of service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

6.5/10Had high expectations which were almost fulfilled. Good ingredients and taste. Unfortunately, something is strange about the actual serving policy. The staff seems to have received instructions to push various offers on the guest. There is also an uneasy feeling where the restaurant and the staff stand above the customer in status. There were also piles of dishes a few meters from the table for at least 30 minutes. However, the food was well prepared and tasted very good. The fork discount of 20% disappeared during the booking process. So double check your confirmation email.

10/10This is an attractive, pleasant, and upscale hotel restaurant. The food was well prepared and presented. Dino, our server, provided excellent and friendly service, and the hostess was quite helpful. Not inexpensive, but a very nice meal. Highly recommend. TIP: Take advantage of The Fork discount.

9.5/10We had heard good things about the restaurant from friends and finally visited. We spend part of the year in Lisbon and the restaurant is only a short distance from our apartment. We has superb, friendly professional service from Jessica and her equally efficient colleague (unfortunately can’t recall her name). Will definitely return soon!

2/10I came here with my mother during our vacation in Lisbon. It was an awful experience. The food was terrible and the service was borderline rude. We ordered an entree and as main course we both got the octopus with spinach and potatoes. The plates were served cold and everything was navigating in so much oil it gave us nausea. The spinach were HARD like roots of a tree, they were wither very old or extremely poor in quality. They were so hard you were not even able to cut them with the knife. They were also just boiled without even salt and just plopped on the plate, like a small island in a sea of oil. The potatoes were half raw: 3/5 potatoes were hard in the middle and they were also tasteless. The only edible thing was the octopus but it was mediocre. The service was terrible. The waiters seemed to be in a hurry and almost urged for clients to finish. Despite the fancy look of the restaurant, the waiters were loudly and ungraciously clearing tables and walking fast from one table to another. As they rushed to fill your glass with your drink, they did so in such a clumsy way. carelessly spilling part of if on the tablecloth. Another unpleasant thing was the fact that the tables were all close to each other, and when eating your food you could feel the smell of whatever the person in the table next to you was eating. Lastly, as a cherry on top they didn’t even apply the discount that came with our reservation, as I had to ask for it. Ultimately an awful and terrible dining experience. If I could I’d put 0/10.

10/10One of the best meals we had in Lisbon, the best octopus I had in Portugal until now. And the steak was great and the sauce was amazing. The service was impeccable. Oh and the cocktails were delicious.

8/10The offer proposed on the application (-30 % on the menu) was said to be unavailable when ordering because the menu is not proposed at night and we had to order 'à la carte'. So finally an expensive bill without any discount. Food was good

7/10Disappointing experience. I was expecting to have an excellent dinner after reading reviews from ( most) earlier guests. It was my birthday and I wanted to have a nice seafood dinner. However, the seafood cream soup was much too salty and peppery. I mentioned that to the waitress but the clams which followed had again too much salt and thus we couldn’t eat not the whole soup nor the clam sauce. Thank was ignored by the waiters and obviously not passed to the kitchen. The rest of the seafood platter was also a disappointment compared to the seafood we have been having in other places in Lisbon and even for less price. The waiter was doing his job but in our opinion he was a bit too “ bushy” trying to sell more drinks and dessert which I explained we didn’t want due to the birthday cake and bubbling I had in my hotel room. The service was quick and efficient, though. My lesson was that when next time wanting to have seafood, I will go to a real seafood restaurant specialized only on seafood.

10/10The restaurant is reaching up to a ‘fine dining’ level compared to other restaurants on the streets of Lisbon. The service is top quality. Pedro and Catarina made explanations about the menu and reminded us about the raw fish plates in case we were not familiar with Portugese food, which was very helpful. The food was very delicious. The atmosphere, service and the attire of the customers make the restaurant very suitable for a special dinner rather than a quick bite. The prices are about 40-50% higher than the regular street restaurants. 30% discount of thefork.com is an advantage in terms of price- performance. Strongly recommended.

10/10The service is super nice and very attentive, quick and excellent in painting a picture of what you are expecting, if you're in doubt of what you want to order. The atmosphere was classy and easy on the eyes but there was still a lot of interesting things to discover and to converse about. The food and drinks where delicious in taste, served in interesting ways and enough to fill you up for sure. After we were done eating we have been offered the dessert menu and even though we said we're full they brought us two tiny pasteis de nata on the house insisting that we can't leave without having at least a something for dessert. 😂 It was an overall satisfying experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a good friend or family members to give it a shot. Thank you for a great evening.

10/10I order tartar steak and grill cabillaud、both dishes also fantastic quality. Tartar steak to make front of view, tasting then served. This service was a remarkable experience. Other than that, he was also wonderful in serving wine, etc.

9/10Inside 5-star Tivoli hotel in beautiful Liberdade area, food quality is top level and ambience so lovely. Set menu provides good options as well. Our server, Pedro made our visit so pleasant with warm welcome and professional guidance, Obrigado. Prawn gambas so good, also nice traditional Portuguese cod fish meal. Cinnamon cake was so delicious, it alone makes us want to revisit. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars, because vegan menu has room for improvement: quinoa with veggies was underwhelming, maybe learn from honest greens chain restaurant por favor.
