The seafood platter was very fresh. The seabass was delicious and has very light taste. Overall the meal was very good except for dessert was a bit too sweet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Cervejaria Liberdade! From the flaming cocktail to start us off, to the seafood platter and octopus rice, to the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream, everything was fresh and delicious. The service was truly excellent as well. It was a bit more than we are in the habit of paying at restaurants in Portugal, but that's to be expected for the location and quality of service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had high expectations which were almost fulfilled. Good ingredients and taste. Unfortunately, something is strange about the actual serving policy. The staff seems to have received instructions to push various offers on the guest. There is also an uneasy feeling where the restaurant and the staff stand above the customer in status. There were also piles of dishes a few meters from the table for at least 30 minutes. However, the food was well prepared and tasted very good. The fork discount of 20% disappeared during the booking process. So double check your confirmation email.

This is an attractive, pleasant, and upscale hotel restaurant. The food was well prepared and presented. Dino, our server, provided excellent and friendly service, and the hostess was quite helpful. Not inexpensive, but a very nice meal. Highly recommend. TIP: Take advantage of The Fork discount.

We had heard good things about the restaurant from friends and finally visited. We spend part of the year in Lisbon and the restaurant is only a short distance from our apartment. We has superb, friendly professional service from Jessica and her equally efficient colleague (unfortunately can’t recall her name). Will definitely return soon!

I came here with my mother during our vacation in Lisbon. It was an awful experience. The food was terrible and the service was borderline rude. We ordered an entree and as main course we both got the octopus with spinach and potatoes. The plates were served cold and everything was navigating in so much oil it gave us nausea. The spinach were HARD like roots of a tree, they were wither very old or extremely poor in quality. They were so hard you were not even able to cut them with the knife. They were also just boiled without even salt and just plopped on the plate, like a small island in a sea of oil. The potatoes were half raw: 3/5 potatoes were hard in the middle and they were also tasteless. The only edible thing was the octopus but it was mediocre. The service was terrible. The waiters seemed to be in a hurry and almost urged for clients to finish. Despite the fancy look of the restaurant, the waiters were loudly and ungraciously clearing tables and walking fast from one table to another. As they rushed to fill your glass with your drink, they did so in such a clumsy way. carelessly spilling part of if on the tablecloth. Another unpleasant thing was the fact that the tables were all close to each other, and when eating your food you could feel the smell of whatever the person in the table next to you was eating. Lastly, as a cherry on top they didn’t even apply the discount that came with our reservation, as I had to ask for it. Ultimately an awful and terrible dining experience. If I could I’d put 0/10.
