Busy, loud, and fun. Attentive servers bring out dish after dish of amazing seafood. Should not be missed.

Service was very good and The atmosphere was fun. However, I was disappointed in the food. The scallops were small and underwhelming in terms of flavour. The prawns were over cooked and looked like they had been sitting too long before being served. We had two orders , and the second order was much better. The crab dish was also a bit disappointing, but maybe I am just not familiar with this kind of crab…but I do know my scallops and prawns!!

The food was superb the ambience was fantastic but what made the experience extra special was our waiter. He was one of the best I have experienced. Not just friendly but it was his attention to detail, all little things but add up to a lot. Just sorry I didn’t catch his name

I made a reservation on 3/18/26 at 6 PM. The traffic was so congested coming back from Sintra. I would be 30 minutes late. I tried to call the restarant twice to notify the restaurant. The restaurant policy stated if we were 15 minutes late we would forfeit the 50 euro deposit. We got a rude messages from the restaurant operator who stated the same policy. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the manager was not available. She then gave me an email to send in my complaints. When we got to the restaurant at 6:30 PM, we presented the problems to the front desk person and asked to speak to the manager. That person told me that he was not available. He also told me that the phone call was answered by "AI." Another person made an offer to allow us to stay for dinner. I worked in the restaurant industry in the past. I know what the restaurant could do to unhappy customers. We declined the offer for obvious reason. Obviously we were charged for the deposit.

Fantastic Scarlet Shrimp, Garlic Prawns, and Clams. Service was quick and friendly - they even helped us store our luggage!

The very best service - warm and professional at the same time. They do seafood and do it well - very impressive meal. Go early, allow the evening to unfold. Our 6pm Rez sounds ridiculously early but it was perfect, left at almost 9 to a huge crowd outside.

We have loved our entire week and second trip to Lisbon. We have enjoyed the best of Portuguese cuisine. Unfortunately Ramiro did not live up to its reputation. The food and main waiter were great. Other staff and the chaotic atmosphere were less than we had hoped for.

I visited ramiro 3 years ago and was one of the best dinner of my life, food was amazing. I don't know if last week was just a case, the food was nothing special. I miss my tiger prawn taste of my first time there.

Despite having a reservation, it could not be found in the system, and the gentleman assisting us insisted that we did not have one. His attitude was not very polite. The food was fairly ordinary and did not meet our expectations.

Not a great experience and something was not right with our meal. Early the next morning, my wife was sick and spent the day recovering.

Garlic shrimp, cockles, ham and cheese were delicious. Al ajillo especial And grilled prawns were both overcooked. Service was nothing to rave about and overcooking seafood when it’s the only thing you serve is inexcusable.

It started with a strange check-in where we were given a number and shuffled around but eventually got seated. The communication with the waiter was not great but I guess that’s on us for not being able to speak Portuguese. The food was average at best. We were very disappointed based on the reputation of this place.

Service providers were generally pleasant and responsive except for one fellow who shrugged his shoulders when I asked if there was a traditional menu available as I don't like using the app (there was none). This place is rather overrated with respect to its food servings. Nothing special really that you cannot get elsewhere. Taste is no different from most other restaurants. They serve a giant shrimp at 98 Euro per 1kg, so each one is rated at 320 grams at 31 Euro. They can't given give you a potato or some asparagus with it. Served completely plain lol. 6 pieces of tiny scallops on the shell. It's not even one mouthful lol. Highly overrated and will never return.

The food is very expensive for what you actually receive. 150 EU for 2 plates of shrimp (~10 shrimp on each plate), 1 plate of barnacles, 1 plate of scallops (6 scallops, very small), 4 tiger prawns, 2 beers, 2 cokes. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. This restaurant is very overrated.

Considerable hype for average food and service. Good garlic prawns, watery dressed crab(why?) , and a couple of steak sandwiches not cooked as requested…

We had been guided to three different waiting areas before sitting, and the dining area has a strong seafood smell. The waiter wasn’t helpful in selecting the dishes and just said everything is great. It feels like a typical tourist trap with average food. They might have been great before, but their glory days are long over.

The food was very nice. However, the place is very crowded and they seem to be in a rush to get you out. Our waitress wasn’t that great and we felt rushed. She even took our wine bottle away without us finishing it completely. We were celebrating our anniversary and felt a little disappointed.

The waiter pushed us to make an order three times. We felt pushed. We ordered two dishes, but they were not hot enough and seemed like made earlier and their taste was bland. The waiter said we should use all money required for reservation, which was very unusual in other countries. The place, overall, gave an impression as a rip-off place for non-domestic travelers. We regretted to believe the online review score.

Just love this restaurant! Great seafood. The restaurant has been renovated since our last visit, but it is still charming.
