The seafoods were fresh and tasty, but a bit on the salty side. Services were quick and efficient, but felt a bit rush because of the reminder from the service staffs that we only had 2 hours limit for our dinner. Ambience was loud and noisy, especially with banging noise from cracking crab shells everywhere It would be nice if the restaurant would offer a shell clam instead of a mallet.

The food quality was incredible. We enjoyed everything but the oysters and scarlet shrimp were two of our favorites. The service was outstanding as well. Friendly and attentive without being stuffy.

This restaurant came highly recommended from two (very different) people. lnitial impressions were very poor as the front of house could not find my reservation and was not just grumpy but frankly rude. Fortunately the patron came by and was friendly and hospitable- providing drinks for us ,offering me a chair while he swiftly sorted a table for us on the ground floor. The service and our dinner were superb- definitely would come again !

Overall, OK meal - nothing memorable. We had many meals in Lisbon that far exceeded this restaurant. I am sure at one point it was something special, but it appears those days have passed.

Just an amazing experience all around. So many mixed reviews that of course we worried. To our happiness we were seated on the front outside closed in patio which elevated the experience from being inside where the lights were bright and tables were close. It was pouring rain and the mood was perfect. Charming waiter, did not try to upsell us and supported what we ordered. Fresh seafood, nothing that even resembled reheated food that I read about. Everything was superb. Razor clams, clams in garlic, giant prawn, scallops, Scarlett shrimp. Bottle of wine. Bill was on target for what we would expect and was fair for sure. Just a perfect evening due to our luck of being seated out front. Our 7:00 reservation was the perfect time.

The Restaurant is a real tourist trap, bad quality of food and service. The completely well done shrimps dripped in bad quality oil with rotten garlic, the crab was ice cold and had no taste at all, it was simply a horrible experience and we would never go there again! In addition they charged 25€ per person in advance from our credit card. They have no exact prices on the menu, just the prices per kilo so that you don’t know what you will pay at the end. The amount we paid was completely out of proportion to the quality of food and service.

The seafood was delicious. However, only seafood (and a steak sandwich) is on the menu. As the waiter (who was excellent) put it, “no vegetables, no rice, no potatoes.” Thus, the dinner felt very incomplete. We sat upstairs in a small overflow table with three other tables - it was a bit weird.

I guess place is so famous because of Instagram. Restaurant does not seem clean especially upstairs. Prices are so high when compared with food. Location is awful. We did not feel safe when we were walking to. I did not really understand why restaurant one of most recommended.

This was a true dining “experience”. Food was simple and fresh. Service was like watching a fine-tuned machine, fast-paced, efficient and fun. Be ready to eat when you arrive because dishes arrive quickly. Maybe not for everyone, but it was a super fun time for our family of six. Absolutely make a reservation.

We had a wonderful meal. All the food were so fresh and delicious. The red shrimps were must have and the best. Tulio took good care of us. He gave very good advices on the food and even taught us how to remove the shells without missing any bits of meat. We would definitely go dine again.
