The seafood tasted like it should I guess. The food came out extremely fast, but we feel that it was very stressed. They came up to us 3-4 times to see if we were ready to order. Then when we ate they were standing so close to us and were looking at us all the time, so it felt like they were going to steal our food. There were more people working there standing around and looking at you than it were guests. I don’t think that it was with the price and I would not recommend it.

If it wasn't for Bourdain I'd never even step in the door of this restaurant given prior reviews. The seafood such as scallops, razor clams, shrimp, limpets, clams, etc. were ALL cooked with butter and garlic and lacked finesse. Had much better scallops in Valencia Spain where I thought the chefs at Bar Cassalla cooked the scallops to perfection.

Was not good welcome at the entrance staff to start with. The initial first floor staff was not also unwelcome greetings but led us to the table. The waiter was not charming too, perhaps rather rude or not well trained. The food was good but no finger bowls nor decent hand wiping papers just thin papers to rue fingers. Overall, it was an experience and enjoyed our visit.

You go for the seafood - astounding selection of crowd pleasers and unusual choices - we had beautiful, fresh oysters, barnacles (ugly but lovely), king prawns and hot clams in garlic. All served with bread and butter (no vegetables or salad on the menu!) Great wine too and reasonably priced.

Cervejaria Ramiro is all about seafood! Everything is fresh and tastes great. However, the menu provides zero description of the entrees and just names, photos and prices. You order seafood, you get seafood. No vegetables, no rice or potatoes, nothing else. The restaurant came highly rated by Condé Nast Traveler, so I was a little surprised at the simplicity of the menu.

There isn't any choice if you want other fish to eat then (big) crusteceans. No salad, no vegetables. They just don't have it. It is very popular for tourists, ( because of the media ) prices accordingly. I've seen it, been there, done it.... Not again.

Just MEH. Didn’t honor the request in the reservation and the woman was very put out when I reminded her. Clearly they love the tourist money but nothing they do caters to those of us who don’t speak the language. Would not recommend

We felt extremely rushed by our waiter. The menu choices were very limited. No side dishes to speak of. They just want to turn tables as quickly as possible. You will find a more enjoyable meal elsewhere!

Wonderful wait staff - spoke very good English. Was a bit surprised when we saw the menu -didn’t realize that that the food was JUST shellfish (and bread) but it was delicious! Fresh and beautifully cooked
