Although the food was good, we were quite disappointed with the dining experience. The Bourdain and Rosenthal experience was not shared. We were escorted to an upstairs room, think Ann Frank. Two other tables, one window. Zero ambiance. The reservation, made three months earlier from another country, requiring prepayment, was “for two hours.” We were rushed from moment one. The menu is digital and priced “by unit.” The food was not delivered at the same time. A wonderful seafood dining experience was expected, but not enjoyed. Our entire process lasted 53 minutes. I left expressing apologies to my family for such a disappointing evening.

Booked a table for 15:00 but arrived early. Got us a table which was good, but then felt rushed at the end of our meal before we had our desert!!! A bit cafe style with high end prices. Food was OK nothing special and no frills for the high prices

The food is absolutely fantastic! 5/5. Ambience are a 4/5, as it is more focused on getting you quality food in more of a casual format. This is not a fancy spot, but they delivery on the quality and freshness of the seafood and it is totally worth it!

Food is great, but the service ruined the experience. The food was delicious (the shrimp is innocent), but the service was incredibly disappointing. Our assigned waiter was extremely rude, literally throwing the plates onto the table and refusing to communicate or listen to any feedback. Ironically, a different waiter from the neighboring table noticed and came over to help us, showing us how to peel and cut the shrimp properly. It's a shame because good food should make you happy, but this experience just left us feeling upset. If you can tolerate being treated rudely for the sake of good seafood, go for it. Otherwise, good luck.

Cervejaria Ramiro mostly lives up to the hype: great food, good service, and that satisfying feeling you’ve actually eaten in Lisbon rather than in a tourist brochure. The seafood is the main event and it delivers. The only real stumble is the entry system. It’s disorganised and badly explained, so at first it feels like you’ve walked into a polite scrum with no rules. Once you’re inside, it all makes more sense — but the confusion at the door is avoidable and takes the shine off the start. That said, I’d absolutely recommend it, and I’d happily go back. Just brace yourself for the slightly chaotic “how do I even get a table?” bit first.

The wait staff was so kind, especially Marco who was very excited when he discovered I spoke Portuguese. They were helpful in recommending delicious food and wine pairings, and when we needed a to-go box, Marco specially wrapped my crab. An amazing experience.

We've been a few times and will return whenever we're in Lisboa. Experience varies on time of year/day I guess. Was Boxing Day so lots of kids! The shellfish was outstanding as ever. Our Prego pud was cooked just perfectly!

It was crazy and hectic…we were sitting next to a table with 12 men cheering and yelling…quite amusing. Great food and excellent waiter (if you do not speak Portuguese) It is so popular that the have a waiting room (lounge) were you need to wait until a table is free (and you are definitely not alone in the waiting room) quite and experience with 2 young kids, but worth the money as we ❤️ seafood.

The seafood was simple and solid. The garlic shrimp was very salty and small for the price. Same with the scallops since it was tiny (1cm) and half the size of the photos. They had the remodeling paid by Johnny Walker so it feels like a huge whisky ad inside so that’s why the logo is repeated like a street art mural. Service from Tulio was excellent and a decent dining experience and mostly hype. Worth a try if you have time but not a make or break dining destination IMHO.

This was my 3rd visit over the course of 10 years or so and each time, they serve very fresh seafood, it does not matter what you order: clams, crab, lobster. Note that you need to pay EUR 25 as a kind of reservation fee here, which will be returned to you with the final bill at the restaurant. This system works 100%, you will see it in your bill. The restaurant is very famous and crowded, so do not expect a totally relaxing atmosphere. But you come here for the fresh seafood. There are many of them in Lisbon but Ramiro still offer fair prices for the quality (note that buttered and toasted bread will be ordered for you always). Finally my tip: grilled rock lobster with butter and a glass of Sagres or carabineros: grilled, even salt will not be needed here! Enjoy!
