For all the hype, I didn't think this place was all that impressive. Our servers were fantastic though, the wine selection was great and reasonable, and of course there were so many novel foods to try (sea snails!). But I didn't think that the preparations were out of this world at all. Very meh in that department, but it was a fun experience nonetheless. Best when experienced with adventurous eaters!

The waiters were quite funny and the food was served so quickly! The crab dip was served cold but it was rich and delicious. We wish they had rice, though! Overall, a very memorable meal

We had a reservation for a table by the window at 5pm and with the restaurant being empty they tried to sit us against a wall. Had to speak with a manager to get a table by the window. The food was bland and there was no option for a salad or vegetables. Would not go back.

We ordered scarlet shrimps, but we got regular shrimps, which we returned. Then we were served clams, which we did not order and returned. After an hour, 2 tasty scarlet shrimps did come, weighing the most 200 grams, yet we were charged 1/2 kilo! This means 25 Euros a shrimp!!!

The seafood was great especially the tiger prawns, but there's only bread to go with it. Service was a bit weird to look up everything online but then order from a waiter. The tables are all a bit squeezed in together.

Ramiro’s has perfected the craft of: less is more! They do not torture the seafood here like a lab experiment. The seafood speaks for itself. You know the food is amazing as it is a packed house and no one is talking…even the babies are silent.

Really great seafood; reasonably priced especially considering the place's popularity, the servers were rushed but also friendly and helpful, but it is extremely crowded and hectic; like eating at a Chinese market at rush hour; go for the excitement, flavors and cultural experience, but probably not for a romantic date

The food was outstanding. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation were excellent. The service was also on point, always attentive, quick and friendly. Our little son also felt very comfortable here. A meal here is more than just that, it's an experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

A Lisbon institution, but a visit here is not for the faint hearted. Make sure you read reviews and blogs about the experience before you go to prepare yourself. This is a seafood restaurant and there is not much else available. Great quality food, with the opportunity to taste local seafood that you might not find elsewhere. Noisy and chaotic, but good service. Be prepared to wait for your table even with a booking. Worth a visit but don’t go if you like a relaxed quiet dinner.

Based on online information saying Cervejaria Romero is the best seafood restaurant in Lisbon, we were expecting quite a special meal. Unfortunately it was probably the worst dining experience of a trip that lasted over three weeks throughout France, Spain and Portugal. That place is a factory, no ambience at all and the waiters are quick to hustle you out. Highly disappointing, feel like it's living off of its past reputation.

My expectations for the restaurant were high after reading online reviews. The seafood is at best 7/10 pending upon what you get. The garlic dishes are delicious, the rest is just so-so. Biggest issue with this establishment was the servers, which were simply grumpy. We noticed as Americans that they were much more friendly and receptive to those who were locals/Europeans/Asian.. to the point where I simply had to ash our waiter if there was something we did that got him in this mood. I have never in all my life or in the 60+ countries I have visited have experienced this. My wife was so upset with the situation she just wanted to leave, and that made me even more upset as I wanted to treat her to a nice evening. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a friendly experience, which is a simply expectation from any dining experience, including McDonalds. I would say, try somewhere else in Lisbon if you can, too many great options to have to deal with this place.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The service from every single person in the restaurant was amazing and the owners were super welcoming and happy to talk about their journey opening their place. Every dish we ate was incredible, my favourites being the Arepas and the black sesame Tuna. Would recommend anybody to go here as it’s a true hidden gem.

Delicious seafood! Delectable, snappy garlic prawns perfectly cooked with a divine garlic butter sauce for dunking the fresh bread; sweet and rich scarlet prawn; steamed crab with crab head “dip”, and fun mallets for pounding the shells (and trying to avoid spraying fellow guests(!)); and plump, juicy, sweet razor clams. All washed down with a bright and crisp vino verde. We had. 3:00 reservation and no wait at all! The restaurant was busy and lively. Fun and satisfying!
