10/10We were impressed with everything, from the quality of food to the amazing. It was our 5yo and 2yo first time having a spider crab and the waitress patiently showed the children how to eat the crab. We absolutely enjoyed the crab, garlic prawns and razor clams that we ordered. They also have a changing table for toddlers.

10/10The service was really amazing! We were perfectly well informed about the menu by our waiter; the seafood simply one of the best (local crab to be highly recommended). Lovely place for enjoying fresh seafood and with not too much official atmosphere.

9/10It’s all about the seafood here and it was all so fresh and delicious! The Gambas Al Ajillo were so good that we ordered another plate of them. Bread in the garlicky sauce dipping is a must! The edible crab was a revelation! Fresh sweet crabmeat and the sauce to dunk it in were outstanding! I loved the scarlet shrimp especially with the head liquid spooned over it. Everything went well with the beer and everyone had a great time!

5.5/10Service was prompt but too rushed. We were seated in a small upstairs overflow room. No restaurant atmosphere. Not a great dining experience. I feel the restaurant is exploiting its success to the detriment of the customers. Lisbon locals were seated in the main restaurant. They also demanded a €50 advance payment. This restaurant is not recommended.

8/10Ramiro is an institution in Lisbon and likely the country. The quality of food has remained stable over the years although the atmosfere and overall experience deteriorated. Most Servers cannot speak Portuguese and/or English despite the old school Portuguese ones (shoutout to Marco who’s been there for 32 years) and you’ll get a very different experience if your table is on the ground floor where the main restaurant area is, or upstairs (recommend try to stay downstairs). Food excellent and you MUST have a Prego (steak sandwich) to top off your seafood meal.

10/10Ramiros is everything a restaurant should be: it focuses on one thing and does it to perfection. It has a small menu of excellently sourced and perfectly prepared seafood dishes, which puts most other restaurants to shame on both price and quality. Recommends include the scarlet prawns and Portuguese spider crab. Service was also excellent, friendly and personable. I can’t recommend Ramiro’s enough: it’s a refreshing reminder that most things modern high end restaurants offer are entirely superfluous to a truly excellent dining experience.

10/10The food was so good! We loved the crab head butter and the glass shrimp. We really wanted to try the gooseneck barnacles, but you were out. This was a little odd since we walked down the street after and saw them in the tanks at several other restaurants, maybe adjust your orders on those so you don’t run out so fast?

4/10I’m honestly shocked by how far this restaurant has fallen. For years, it was the spot I’d celebrate my birthday—great food, cozy atmosphere, and attentive service. But this year? A complete disaster. The food was bland and overpriced, as if they stopped caring about quality altogether. The once warm and inviting atmosphere now feels cold and chaotic. And the service? Absolutely atrocious. It’s like they’ve hired people who don’t even want to be there. This was supposed to be a special celebration, but instead, it was a massive disappointment. I won’t be coming back, and I genuinely hope they figure out how to fix what used to make this place great. What a letdown.
