Lovely venue, amazing seafood, staff were very stretched and they need to hire more people to cover the grounds! Go for the crab starters which was delicious, and the oysters were super fresh.

The meal was okay but not as good as I had been led to believe. The reception was slow and the service also. I have to say I was rather disappointed.

Charged for things that were not ordered such as bread baskets or cheese that we did not order or even ate. It added like 20 extra euro to bill. Quality of other plates was great but that extra charge was like a scam

Fantastic fish restaurant you have to go to when in Lisbon .. Historic old monastery with waiters dressed as monks adding great evening atmosphere. We had the fish special with rice and cold white wine mmmmm delicious €70 well worth spent

It was a great disappointment because it was such an historic place to eat good seafood. The quality and service were absolutely unacceptable. Do not recommend, will never go there again.

Very touristic place, frozen food, poor quality. We had codfish of bad quality and a steak. It's a cervezeria, but the choice of beers are limited too. The atmosphere is interesting and friendly. Good for a try but don't expect to eat real Portuguese.

Really lovely staff but the food was bland or too salty and it was all luke warm as if it is made in advance. It was a half empty and massive space that felt stuffy. The monk costumes for the staff were a bit unnecessary and cheesy. Disappointing overall.

Overrated tourist trap Food was basic with little flair. Bland taste. Service was uninspired. Lots of great restaurants in this area of Lisboa so don’t waste your time and money here

I would not recommend this place. The salad was disappointing but the steaks were downright bad. My friend returned her steak once and the replacement was still inedible. And WAY too expensive for the poor food. Definitely avoid this place.

Good restaurant, kind personnel! Suitable for big groups as well as for a romantic dinner in the chiostro. I would recommend it and I would definitely come back

This place was great (if a bit touristy)! The servers were friendly, the lager cold and delicious (in fact we went back a second time just for the beer) and the garlic shrimp appetizer delicious. It was an experience.

The Trindade is probably the biggest cervejaria type restaurant you will ever find and a true institution. Go here for traditional Portuguese cuisine well done, no-nonsense seafood and meat dishes, beer in enormous mugs served by waiters in monk robes. The place is always busy and has a loud an fun atmosphere, great for families and larger groups, probably not a good choice for romantic dinner.

This location has a very good old historic atmosphere. The prices are very fair and moderate. The food is good but nothing special. The service was also "only" okay, they don't have much time for you because it's so crowded.

There are 2 rooms for dining here. One for tourists and walk-ins, and one for booked diners. Despite researching the restaurant and booking in advance on The Fork, we we’re given an uncomfortable table with benches in the walk-in room, even though the main room was half empty and our booking was definitely in the diary. The reason was not given. Lemonade was served in cans at the table and individual butter sachets were charged at 1 Euro each. When the food arrived it was pretty average seafood, although expensive. All the while walk-ins were queuing at the end of the room, and being led to tables, ruining the atmosphere somewhat. The whole experience was quite disappointing and felt like a mercenary tourist-rinsing exercise. In contrast we went to Bairro-Avillez next door the previous night and had a lovely meal with attentive and respectful staff. I’d recommend you do the same.

The steak we ordered was unchewable. It was very dry and difficult to chew, and it wasn't medium rare!
