2/10We arrived at the restaurant at 5.30pm for my 50th birthday reservation. The waiters and staff just ignored us even when we requested someone to seat us. We waited for over 10 minutes while they just chatted amongst themselves

9.5/10Very accommodating service, delicious food, including a new experience for us with Aguardentes! The restaurant is beautiful, but rather loud (lots of hard surfaces to reflect sound).

6/10incredibly poor acoustics and very high sound levels. The place gives the impression of being a machine that needs to get as many people through as quickly as possible. The waiter at our table was incredibly friendly and quickly corrected the kitchen's mistake in not serving what was ordered. I had ordered octopus and it was poorly prepared. It tasted like leftovers from the grill and was also flabby in consistency when served. Far too expensive for the price.

9/10The restaurant itself is so beautiful, but the service was incredibly friendly, especially our waitress Jennifer who recommended the cod which was perfectly cooked and also the kids menu which is usually bleh, was really tasty and my kid really enjoyed it. Food came out super fast as well.. can definitely recommend!!

8/10Nice place but loud. The service were polite guys but without experience (the lady who served didn’t know how to split the bill and didn’t know English don’t even the word water). The food was good but all the plates came cold

6/10We had a lovely meal in your restaurant. Sadley despite mentioning several times when ordering desert that my wife had an egg allergy, we were told the creme brulee did not contain eggs. We asked again and the waiter kindly went to check and confirmed it did not have eggs in the ingredients. My wife has been in pain and very unwell all evening, as a result it appears your desert does contain egg yolk. This is a serious problem and could have involved a hospital visit. I would not recommend to any one with alergies.

Everything we ate was delicious. The vegetable soup, eggplant starter, mussels and the streak with fries. The sauce on the steak was really good. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, how cool to eat in an old monastery, surrounded by beautiful mosaics and arches. Our server Carlos made our dining experience with his cheerful disposition. We will go back!

+1Had a great dining experience, just as good ad our last visit to Lisbon two years ago, and as good as I recall from 25 yrs ago too!! Amejioas, bife a vazia, arroz de camarao Tigre, polvo- all the best I’ve ever had. (And I am Portuguese from Canada). I will go back there year after year.

To start I had a plate of prawns with garlic and ginger - a great combination. For my main course I had a beautifully cooked steak with a side of lightly stir fried vegetables. The meat was delicious and the vegetables a great accompaniment. The service was good.

+3We loved the architecture, design and vibe of the place. We’re visiting Lisbon and we met up with a friend we hadn’t seen in many years. Trindade was the perfect place for a bite to eat and catch up. The food was delicious and service was great. There were quite a few people there, and it was nice to be in a busy and vibrant restaurant. I read the history in the menu and it resonated very much to read about how it was rebuilt with hope after the earthquake.

7.5/10Very unwelcoming! When we arrived we had to wait over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. There was a big queue behind us and when the lady did come over she was also rude. It certainly didn’t feel like they wanted our custom. Luckily the food was very good.

Location is really beautiful. Service is very quick and precise. Food very good. Prices a bit higher but the, considering the location (and the service), it is reasonable. So, a place to go!
