6/10The waiter took quite a while to bring the béarnaise sauce, and when he finally did, we realized he had taken a sauce from another table that had already been used by other customers.

7/10It is a lovely place, but for the 1st time the service was really disappointing. We noticed waiters started to fight verbally about another table. Champagne was not served cold enough, and the waiters told all the tables were wrong. I will come back but I hope service will be better

6/10The sitting was the last one for lunch and indeed we were told so. The food arrived very fast which was good. However, I had asked for gluten free bread which they said they had but it never arrived, they forgot to bring the rice but when I reminded them they brought it. My beef was hard and the fish for my guest was full of bones. The sweets, a mouse and cheesecake were amazing and so were the salads. At other occasions Shen I visited again I was much more satisfied by the service and the food. I think this time it was because the timing was late and staff were in between shifts.

7.5/10The service at the table was not bad, but they totally ignored my request and received one of the least nicest tables, placed in the corridor in front of a stand or cashier or something like this, with waiters passing very close to our table all the time. The food was decent but not exceptional. We came from Lausanne for it and we were celebrating a personal event. Unfortunately I would not choose this restaurant again.

4/10We went for lunch. This restaurant was highly recommended by a chef from Geneva. Service was a disaster. We waited forever for our food, and when the food came, it was really not prepared Well, the fish was overcooked. The pork was very dry. We left very unhappy and we mentioned it to the hostess.

7/10Food tasted very good and prepared at requested specifications (e.g. temperature). Food présentation was general, and delivery of food after order was fast. However, service was very slow and inefficient, even for a weekday, as it was not a full house; it took approx. 15 minutes before any server came to our table, and that was after we asked someone who would be tending to us for the night. Staff appeared disorganized and our party needed to request items (e.g. drinks, final check) from different individuals on at least three instances before a server would bring our requested item. Overall, food quality was very good but service left a lot to be desired.

9.5/10We ordered a Caesar salad for my wife and specifically asked for it without anchovies. Unfortunately, what we received was the exact opposite – the anchovies were still there, hidden between the lettuce and the cheese. As a result, my wife couldn’t eat half of her dish. When the waitress noticed this, she only said a quick “sorry” and did nothing further – the salad remained on the bill, and no replacement or gesture was offered. In the end, my wife had to eat a little from my plate, and I shared part of my meal with her. I find this kind of service disappointing. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a restaurant handles them that really matters. A proper apology and at least some form of compensation or replacement would have been the right thing to do.

9.5/10The grill (meats) - is exceptional. It's written someplace Chez Philippe is kinda fashioned (?) after NYC's or whenever else's American steakhouses, but boy-o-boy .. Would say - (most of) American steakhouses aren't en pair. Quite fare, actually, from being such.

The food was great tasting and presented beautifully. Staff was slow on the uptake and once they realized we had made 2 requests for plates and drink, we were given an attentive and very pleasant waiter. My travel companion tends to be needy, so this made the meal much more pleasant. I would recommend Chez Phillippe to anyone asking. We were given the recommendation by a local, and were very happy with the entire meal and service.

7.5/10The food was on and off, some good some not very good. The service was very spotty, there was a bus boy who was excellent, but then the rest of the waiters sometimes were nowhere to be found. The ambience was overall acceptable.
