10/10We arrived half an hour late for our reservation with only 30 minutes to the kitchen closing time. The staff did everything to ensure that we got our orders in and served before the kitchen closed. The food was really good and I cannot speak high enough of the service we received even though it was our fault that we were late. The restaurant itself is really lovely and decorative.

7.5/10I came back after some time for a business dinner (9 people) and for the very first time i left the place with some disappointment for one of my favorite places i Geneva…. Mainly due to very poor and slow service (same complaint from everyone sitting at the table). Food and ambiance were good as usual, but unfortunately sometimes a bad service risks jeopardizing the experience… will definitely give another try soon!

8/10Honestly, nothing special that would really deserve michelin star as of my point of view. Good fancy resto, seems that has a good marketing. But rather than that nothing that could blow ur mind and make u feel gastronomic orgasm. The way good resto should be.

7.5/10The food was good, but not amazing. The best part was actually the crab cakes with wasabi mayonnaise appetizer. The steak was medium quality, and the sauce au poivre vert was a bit bland, but it was good. The service was not the fastest, but not terrible either. The crepes for dessert were fun to watch being made, but were overpowered with orange—would’ve preferred them with something a bit lighter to taste more of the crepes. Overall it was a very nice restaurant, but for the price, I just expected it to be more than it was.

9/10Was just what we needed! This was last minute reservation but the kindness of the staff, their professionalism and the service were just perfect. And the food (and cocktails, btw) was just excellent! I’d go again in a heartbeat!

8/10The food quality was fantastic, however we had an unpleasant experience with the reservation. We made a reservation for the 31st December and the restaurant did not inform us in advance about their policy for New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately we could not order what we wanted to eat but we had to stick to a fixed menu for a price of 220 CHF (drinks not included). Also the 2 years old baby with us had to stick to a 50 CHF fixed menu and even if she could not eat some of the dishes (foie gras) we had to pay the entire menu price. The service was ok but considering the high price paid it could have been much better.

8/10Food was very good, although not a Michelin level. In terms of service, we had to be looking for our waiter in more than 4 times during our meal. Steaks were well cooked and good flavor. Desserts were brilliant! Ambience is excellent, top notch, music was flawless. Value wise is good, competitive pricing, considering you are in Geneve. Overall, recommended. Hope they read their feedback so they continue to improve.

10/10Great for special occasions or a romantic dinner. The food is delicious well worth the price. Menu has many delicious options . I had the Sirloin cooked to perfection and a beautiful and delicious Apple Tartin for dessert . Great wine menu also available.

7.5/10The food was very good and nicely served. However, despite booking and arriving early, I guess because we were two women, we got the table next to the kitchen and despite the resto being relatively empty, it was not possible to change…so it was a very smokey affair!

5.5/10Service was very disappointing. They brought the wrong appetizers for us. Then when our main courses came, we finished our wine and our wine glasses sat empty for a while. When I asked for more wine I was told our bottle was finished. After we finished our mains the somm came to fill our glasses again and we realized there was loads of wine left in our bottle but we had already finished dinner. Quite disappointing all around.

9/10The restaurant has very good food and we had a nice expericene. We understand that a group of 10 people is difficutl to handle but we did feel rushed during our stay. espeically towards the end even though the resaurant was long from closing.

8/10The food was great, the service quick. I was just very surprised at the table they sat us at (with a reservation weeks in advance) behind a station where they had to enter orders in the computer, and maneuver with trays behind that and our table with only about 3 feet of room. Shouldn't have even had a table there. Our table also was lopsided resulting in our drinks slopping back and forth when we tried to cut our dinner - we flagged some staff to help and it took a few tries to get them to actually get them to believe us and slip something under our table legs to stop it. So yes, a great dinner, absolutely recommend it, but seriously, get rid of that table and stop expecting people to not realize they've been shafted.

7.5/10Started well, place on the terrace for one. 2 starters, until two Gents sat beside and opposite to eat when they took out cigarettes and proceeded to smoke right next to me, I promptly moved an requested another table inside,, had I been made aware that you can smoke in a glass covered outlet with people eating I would never have booked. or at least tell people prior to booking (smoking or non smoking sir) Having said all that the food was very good an well worth a visit.. Just don’t bring ya cigarettes with you An we can all appreciate the ambience rather than breathing it in.. just a thought !! ?

6.5/10Quite disappointing. Have eaten there on several occasions and returned following good experiences. Substantial drop in quality of food and totally inefficient, disjointed service. Tbone requested rare ( saignant) came not medium but close to well-done. We requested suggestions for “ a good glass of red wine”. Waiter didn’t have the faintest idea of what to propose. Took several repeat several requests to finally be served the wine and simple bottle of water came in the middle of the meal. Seemed like four different waiters took care of our table and left hand had no idea about what the righr hand was doing . Result it all fell flat in the middle. Mr. Chevrier should ensure that his staff stay concentrated on quality since reputations are quickly lost. Hoping for prompt improvement.

6.5/10Title: Disappointing Discrepancy in Dining Comfort My recent experience at Chez Philip Restaurant was overshadowed by a glaring contradiction between their website's promise of air conditioning and the reality we faced. On an unbearably hot 36-degree day, the absence of the promised air conditioning was both distressing and disappointing. This oversight tainted an otherwise acceptable meal and service, leaving us all uncomfortably sweating throughout the evening. While the food and service had their merits, the restaurant's misleading information regarding air conditioning significantly detracted from the overall experience. It is my hope that Chez Philip Restaurant addresses this issue, ensuring accurate communication for future patrons.
