10/10We were only stopping by Bologna for the afternoon and this meal made us wish we could stay! Absolutely delicious food on every plate. Truly one of the best meals I have ever had start to finish!

10/10An excellent restaurant in Bologna. Warm, welcoming, friendly service, a strong menu selection and delicious food. The fish selection was packed with dishes I could have picked... my own choices were wonderful. I would recommend the restaurant highly, and hope to return again when next in Bologna. Superb.

10/10Fantastic restaurant. Attentive, helpful & very friendly staff. We had the fish & seafood which was exquisite.. the calamari & octopus dishes were probably the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere. The chef adjusted one of the desserts to make it lactose free for me. The menu made it very clear which allergens were in each dish. Halfway through lunch a thunderstorm began. The staff quickly & calmly moved everyone inside. Cracking local wine list which was very reasonably priced. Very highly recommended!

10/10Just as wonderful as we had hoped! Friendly, effecient and welcoming service. The waiter was wonderful and very informative about all the dishes. The food was amazing, we had the traditional Bolognese tasting menu at a reasonable price and we felt liked we had tasted all the goodies of Bologna after this visit! Highly recommend!

7.5/10Came here after watching Rick Steins TV programme. He classed it as a ‘hidden gem’. I can’t say I would agree. Food was nice but we were expecting more. We would not return

10/10Excellent and imaginatively prepared seafood dishes. The waiter worked with me in tuning the menu to my preferences and provided excellent local wine pairings to go with each dish. I highly recommend the dinner experience at Ciacco!

10/10Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Service was excellent with perfectly cooked food. We had the specials which were stuffed zucchini flowers and the prawn ravioli. We also had the scallops, gnocchi with sea urchin, cuttlefish and the tortellini in broth. All faultless. Thank you!

5.5/10We ordered fish, my husband had scallops which were perfect but my red mullett was over cooked and a bit tainted...our main course of Turbut was over cooked, my husband found a lot of bones... the chef should be more attentive...we would have had another glass of wine if the two waiters had been more attentive...we don’t mind paying for a good meal & service...but not that impressed...

10/10I loved lunch. It was a nice change to have an offer of seafood in Bologna. Also, dining alone can be rushed and uncomfortable. Not here. The waiter at Ciacco was extremely nice, especially letting me practice my Italian when ordering and chatting. I highly recommend Ciacco for the food and the service.

9.5/10My Partner and I chose the Bologna Tasking Menu. Although we generally avoid tasting menus as they can be very over priced, every course was excellent, with generous portions and served at the right speed. If you want a lovely relaxing meal, I would recommend thoroughly Ciacco.

10/10The food was excellent and the service was great. One of the waiters helped us choose the wine according to the meal choice and it was delicious. Shame we had to move on from bologna because we would've gone every night it was that good

10/10Excellent restaurant, lovely cooking, ambience, wine advice and very good value for money. Two of us enjoyed the Bologna 5 course tasting menu and the other 2 a la carte. Well worth a visit!
