High quality and imaginative food, representative of the region but with both individuality and finesse. Lovely, professional, natural, and expert service. Super wine list, too. Multiple languages spoken. A very memorable meal.

Sadly disappointing. Nothing wrong with the food but having eaten at their Trattoria restaurant next door 2 nights earlier we had expected so much more here. The food is rustic rather than refined and clearly food presentation isn't high on the agenda. The paired wines with the tasting menu were fine. Overall for the price it was not what we had hoped for.

Excellent location. Nice atmosphere. The ingredients are good quality but the dishes were disappointing. For example; we had fish (sea bass) but it was served with a large quantity (a mound) of (home-made) mayonnaise on the side that was essentially inedible. We also had a fillet but it was served with a rather bitter tasting chicory that had been soaked in red wine; it needed something sweeter to make it enjoyable. Overall, given how well we have been eating in Florence, we were rather underwhelmed.

We were so excited to eat at this restaurant while on an anniversary trip to Italy. The food was fantastic. We each ordered the tasting menu and added the wine pairings. Service was clunky and disorganized from the start. It progressively got worse as a large corporate party was seated (24-30 ppl) and all service attention was placed on them. We felt forgotten about halfway through our courses. The worst part was when we asked for the check 3 hours after being seated and having to wait 35 minutes for it to finally arrive (after asking three different servers, including the manager/owner?) We have dined at many amazing restaurants, but would not return here when back in Italy.

Not what it used to be. Service was poor and casual without the personal attention there used to be. Food was fine though not outstanding as it used to me. Cibreo Cafe seems to work better across the street - but the restaurant was a disappointment as it was once a favorite

Incredible dinner for 14 people to celebrate a milestone birthday and group of friends traveling together as first time empty nester. Could not have been better from start to finish. All communications with the restaurant prior to arrival or top-notch. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

They were also the first on our trip to comment on and remember the reason why were celebrating as well. We were very impressed

I live in Florence, and I have been to the three Cibreo properties many times. They never disappoint. I had the eight layer eggplant parmesan, with a flavorful cheese center. Make reservations in advance and be sure to say hello to Lara and Noami. If you come for lunch early atthe cafe or trattoria, you can experience Piazza Sant'Ambrogio, and the nearby Sant'Ambrogio mercado. There is an impressive selection of fresh produce, meat, poultry and fish. It is still an authentic Italian experience.

I took my wife to Cibreo to celebrate her Birthday. Friendly attentive and knowledgeable staff, good wine and fantastic Tuscan food. Everything was perfect. Thank you all and one, the Staff of Cibreo.

The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Was only disappointed because their most famous pasta dish was not available that night.

Absolutely amazing. They let me order off menu. Had the Lasagne Ragù and was outstanding! We sampled the cheesecake and it was out of this world! The team were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience an unforgettable one.

Had high hopes for this experience but was disappointed by the food in comparison to the prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we had to wait 30+ minutes for our bill after asking for it. The wine was very good and the atmosphere was very cosy!

Service was really good, all the staff treated us very well and very nice environment. And I am aware that we maybe just had bad luck this day, but since no single dish was good I think it is important i’ll let you know. When you pay 250 EUR for 2 persons you expect much more, this restaurant is mentioned in the Michelin guide. Let me start to explain our experience the vitello was dry and thick slices, no finess. The ossobuco for 45 EUR, was so plain, zero deep flavour in the sauce and meat was cooked in too little time since the meat was chewy and dry. Then we ate lamb covered in pig fat, it was so much pig fat around the lamb it almost made us nauseaous. And last but not least we ate pigeon, small pigeon, very dry meat, barely any sides and hard to eat. I would also like to mention that the food is not bad, it is just incredible mediocre and you do not get what you pay for. I would also like to mention that I never write this long reviews, but I am just very dissapointed.

Very pleasant premises, very welcoming and knowledgeable staff who spoke fluently with us in our language. The food was delicious, every single mouthful, in terms of how it was prepared and presented. Not a cheap evening, but worth every penny.

This was our first time back in 19 years. Why did we wait so long? We shouldn’t have because everything was perfect from the food to the service. The only thing missing was the thigh bone breadsticks of the past. We had the fish soup, vitello tonato, and sformatino di ricotta followed by the veal tongue, rabbit, and stuffed calamari. Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We will be back soon!

My son found a piece of plastic in the yogurt for the amuse. Nothing was offered to make up for it. Then he accidentally ate a piece of clove from the sauce of the veal tongue,which ruined his taste for the rest of the meal. The potato & ricotta flan with the ragu is why I go there,it still is really good. My rabbit main course was only okay.It took about 30minutes to get our check despite not having any dessert.
