The place was in a nice setup, busy as it gets. Luckily you can make reservations, even if online it’s written that they don’t accept. The food was quite good, but when it’s good you have to be picky, so the vitello tonnato was a bit to thick for me. But, the rabbit and the roast beef were killers

We had made reservations but had to wait, no big deal, happens all the time but there wasn’t any acknowledgment of that fact or even us until I had to point out we were there and asked again if our table was ready Once we sat down our server was great and the food was good

Service was completely disjointed. The people next to us left before their main items arrived because they were told that due to a mistake the order never made it to the kitchen. Literally, as they were leaving their orders arrived. Our orders were simply delayed. Good, but very delayed. The food was nothing spectacular.

Service kind. Pumpkin soup was delicious and liver pâté. Sliced beef was served medium rare as told and cooked to order, tender enough but little flavoring. Rabbit was dry and served with about .5 cup capers.

Restaurant and hotel are located in what appears to be an old inn. It's been fixed up and updated, but retains original ambience, woodwork, and charm. Food was excellent. Lots of locals.

I'm from Germany, and in Germany, for 27 euros, you can get around 300-400g of grilled steak with a potato salad. However, here, for 23 euros, all you get is a slice of pork loin, which is too little even for a simple sandwich – and it's pork! Putting aside subjective opinions about taste, I still feel shocked and confused. What rare spices or exceptional cooking techniques could possibly justify such a high price for a slice of pork loin served with mashed potatoes? Therefore, I personally cannot recommend this place to someone who is really hungry.

Unbelievably slow service. We felt ignored because we were seated near a table of 5 known to the staff who got all the attention We had to constantly flag down staff to ask where our food was. Not a pleasant dining experience.

Mediocre all around - we got the lasagna, beef tartare, chicken meatballs, green beans, and white beans. The chicken meatballs were the highlight. Lasagne tasted like it was frozen and reheated and most dishes lacked flavor and seasoning. Definitely more hyped than it should be and a tourist trap- there were no locals dining in the restaurant. Would skip this one if you can!

Restaurant was recommended by a friend from Florence. My wife and I had appetizers and main courses. We were both very pleased by our choices. I had the house specialty roast beef, and it was beautifully presented. She had chicken liver pate and the rabbit special, and found both to be superb. Even with wine, our bill came to only a bit more than 100 Euro's. An excellent meal and an excellent value. Would HIGHLY recommend. (But if you decide to go, make reservations ahead of time!)

Very disapointing at all level. For the dining set up: very small wood table and uncomfortable strait chair; for the meals: one plate was served in an aluminium foil (find for cooking method but defenitly not for meal presentation), the second plate was cold and not tasty. Finally, the cost of our mushroom soup was 22€ each...very expensive for a not too special meal. We were told that this restaurant was famous because of a star chef. If it is True, than the chef was certainly on vacation ! Not recommended!

Terrible. Never more. My reservation was not set (although I have done and confirmed by The Fork). Few options of meal and all of them seemed winter menu instead of summer menu. The fish served was not tasty and super heavy. Super expensive for what was offered. In addition, the service was not ok. Although the restaurant was practically empty, the waitress was stressed and not helpful.

Delicious lunch choice. Not to be missed. The off menu specials list was the size of the regular menu and delicious. We unfortunately filled up on the generous appetizer portions.
