It's people who make restaurant memories, the people who you are dining with and the people who are serving and cooking for you, Cibreo Trattoria's staff especially Cristina made our evening very special, nothing was too much trouble, the food is rustic Tuscan, just what you would expect from a Trattoria, flavoursome, robust, authentic. It was so good that we also went to their café and theatre while we were in Florence.

A friendly and welcoming venue with good rustic Tuscan food. Just the job for our first night in Florence. Large portions may be an advantage or a little off-putting.

The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. I waited 20 mins to be served, However, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Unfortunately, it was the worst food I have tasted in Florence. left hungry as I couldn't eat it.

The hostess was very charming, the service in general very nice. We were there for Silvester with the prefixed meal, we liked most of the starters (not a fan of tripe salat) and primi piatti very much, wide variety of tastes, all excellently done. The main courses however were a bit uninspired, still good traditional cooking, not as excellent as the starters. All in all we had a great evening and would definitely come back another time.

The food was good, it not great. The service was fine, but not exceptional. The wine list was adequate, but not expansive. The only thing about this restaurant that is “Michelin” was the price. The sides cost an extra $15, and the menu does not state that. They ask what side you want with your dish, and then add 12 Euros each on the bill. Cold soup, dry bread, uncomfortable seating. I would never have chosen this restaurant if I knew. IT IS NOT MICHELIN. It is mediocre and expensive.

Our food was excellent, especially the cod dish. Husband is coeliac and there were loads of options for him. He highly recommends the veal tripe salad and pork dishes. Great atmosphere. Maitre d’ (owner?) was very welcoming and staff were very helpful and attentive (but not intrusive). Highly recommend.

The people were lovely and the restaurant was quaint and authentic, but the food was disappointing. Most of us started with the tomato bread soup which was a dense and rich tomato sauce. My son had the rabbit special, which was tough and the chicken meatballs were just ok.
