very traditional and simple dishes. could have been more exiting and compared to other similarly priced restaurants in the area it seemed poor value. cozy and good service, but choose one of the two other michelin bib i firenze instead.

The people were lovely and the restaurant was quaint and authentic, but the food was disappointing. Most of us started with the tomato bread soup which was a dense and rich tomato sauce. My son had the rabbit special, which was tough and the chicken meatballs were just ok.

I chose Cibrèo for a special meal during my trip. I was on a budget and this was meant to be one of my few "splurge" meals when I treated myself to a sit-down dinner. After reading about Cibrèo on the Michelin guide and looking up reviews online, I was a bit let down by my experience. The food was okay but not as great as I had been led to expect, and I was really quite disappointed by the orange marmalade cheesecake, which I had been told this place is famous for. I had minestrone and the vegetarian (pesto) lasagna, which were fine but not remarkable. The cheesecake was so thick, to the extent that it was physically difficult to eat it. Plating and presentation were also not amazing--my first and second course came out looking sloppy. The server was friendly but the staff seemed a bit overstretched and I often had to wait quite a while for someone to be available when I needed something.

Love the authentic traditional style cuisine. Generous portion for sharing and casual trattoria style. A relaxing ambiance and set up but we found it quite hot and stuffy inside especially in hot summer. Wish they have better aircon or ventilation, so that we could enjoy the delicious meal even better.

Wonderful food and nice staff - too many loud Americans for my taste and no air conditioning. It was too hot, and we rushed our dinner (food was outstanding). Amazing value for money - try the beef tartare!

The specials outside of the menu were presented as entries, but the one we chose was a big, full dish, more expensive than anything else on the menu (€25 for a liver dish). If I had known that, I would not have ordered the lasagna, which was Lao not great, very oily. All in all, disappointing.

We were excited to eat here after hearing great things. Unfortunately the food was OK but not great. The menu does not describe it well and there really isn’t anything special about it. Service was slow and perfunctory. Too bad.
