9/10The manager (woman who owns the restaurant) was very nice, the waiters unfortunately not very attentive. But if you wanna taste a local delicious pizza, that is your address for dinner! We really recommend this place for order or takeout a pizza. Would order again :-)

2/10As far as pizzas go, this place is average at best, with the dough being a mix between the thin Roman pizza and the thicker one from Naples, alas remaining very soggy and chewy. Where it gives its worst, though, is with everything else. For a place that claims to be a pizzeria and an ‘antipasteria’ (starters-place) the appetizers are quite a horrible experience: we had what you might rightly say are staples of a pizzeria (at least near Rome), ie fiori fritti and crocchette di patate, absolutely dreadful and drenched in oil. Along with it we had some fries ‘cacio e pepe’ (cheese and pepper) which tasted ok, lest finding out that the little basket they were served in still bore markings of sauces from previous servings to other customers, god only knows when. This made us seriously question the hygiene of this place. Service is appalling: I understand that youngsters from the area work here during the season but fundamentals need to be respected even here: beyond the hygiene example above, plastic glasses are left out on the tables to be used for drinking, exposed to whatever and whoever, and not a single plate were we offered to consume the hyper-fried antipasti (which we mostly left). The decor is made of outdoor plastic chairs and tables that pose a serious risk of injury for how flimsy they are, bending and shaking to the limit barely able to sustain your weight; same with the so-called tables, which are not only minuscule (we were 4, including 2 kids, and constantly overlapping on each other) but have serious trouble standing firm. This sad ensemble of green flimsy chairs and tables, with paper cloths (that you need to distribute yourself) and canteen-style wrapped cutlery is spread over one of the, although I understand typical of Sabaudia’s architecture from the 1930’s, empty flat square circled by squalid buildings that have most probably not been cleaned or painted since then. If you really must and have no alternatives, opt for pizzas to go. With all the nice options for pizza in the area, though, you’ll have better chances elsewhere.
