The food was great specially costoletta was incredible the best we ever had. Then we ended with an incredible tiramisu . We recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan

The restaurant was not busy. The young waiter was lovely and attentive. The bread that was brought out was hard and stale. We didn’t have a starter, just a main course. The food arrived cold. I had steak with wedge potatoes in a sauce - when I asked if it was supposed to be cold, the waiter took it away. A good 10 minutes later he returned with the same plate of food saying it was very hot now - it wasn’t! The steak was now lukewarm and the potatoes and sauce were very cold. My friend had seared tuna with vegetables - again hers was cold. When we mentioned this to the waiter he said the Tuna could not be any hotter as it would be over cooked. That is fair enough but surely the vegetables in a sauce should be hot. We both ate our meals as we were hungry but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Such a shame as the restaurant was nice and the wine was nice. It was the most expensive meal we had in Italy and the worst! No compensation was offered, probably because we ate the food!

This typical local restaurant is great both for business menu and à la carte lunch. The food and the range of possible choices are really great. The style is traditional but up to date. The garden is absolutely lovely and quiet. Fair prices.
